  • I chose this location based on proximity to Yale School of Medicine where I was attending a meeting. The apartment building is a short walk to the medical school, clean, with a kitchen, bathroom, and balcony. The furnishings, a kitchen table and four wooden chairs, plus one camp stool, and the air bed, were basic but functional. No problems obtaining the key from security. Xena arrived briefly on the afternoon of the first day to pick up a few things and then gave me privacy for the rest of the weekend.

  • It was such a delight to stay in Xena's apartment. It is a spacious living space in a convenient location between the main Yale campus and the medical campus. Xena was a most delightful host and did everything possible to ensure that my stay was the best possible. Thank you, Xena!

  • Really nice flat. The bed was actually a double air bed but very comfortable still none the less. Only saw Xena briefly when I moved in which was fine as I was busy. She gave privacy to the entire lounge kitchen and balcony so basically was my own flat. Seemed like a really nice host. Highly recommended

  • I stayed in Xena's apartment for six weeks in July and August 2013. The apartment's location is as described, right in the middle of the Latin Quarter and a short walk from the Pantheon, Notre Dame cathedral, the Jardin du Luxembourg, and any number of restaurants. The metro is easily accessible two blocks away. The apartment seems quite spacious for Paris, and the windows open into an internal courtyard that is significantly cooler than the outside in the summer. Xena was a wonderful host, and was very accommodating in helping to resolve a small issue that arose during my stay. I would recommend her without hesitation.

  • The house was very clean and Xena was very cordial. The view from her house is amazing. The only problems I had related to consistency of internet and parking. However, she did inform me that parking would be an issue. I do not have any problem in recommending Xena's apartment to anyone.

  • Xena was a wonderful host. She was gracious enough to take us in when our original host cancelled the afternoon before we were to arrive! We had tons of privacy and loved the use of the kitchen. Xena was kind and professional in all of her communications. She's a great host - check it out and enjoy your stay!

  • Xenas apartement was a Most Wonderful Place to stay. The view really is fantastic, combined wirh the Balcony it felt like coming home to our Holiday Hotel Even if we stayed in New haven for work. The living room Would have been spacious enough for two People but combined with the bedroom that xena kindly openened up for us to stay it was very luxurious. The Place is very clean, has a beautiful Atmosphere with paintings, flowers and Lots if light and xena was very understanding with our spontaneous Travel Plans. I can absolutely recommend staying at her Place!!!

  • Xéna was not lying: her place really does have the best view in New Haven! I basically used the view out the window as my personal map of Yale. Xéna is an incredibly attentive host. Each morning she would leave me a note with suggestions on where to eat/get coffee, and any other information she thought I might like to know. I felt at home in the clean, open space, and used the kitchen as if it were my own. I am looking forward to my next stay!
