  • We stayed at Unji's for a reunion weekend with my college roommates. Her apartment was perfect for some first-timers in the city! The location was convenient to all of downtown, felt very safe, and was very clean upon our arrival. It had every amenity we could have hoped for.

Unji herself was incredibly responsive and kind. Her recommendations for things to do (and eat!) in Austin were also spot on. I would stay here again in an instant!

  • Easy to check in and out, absolutely wonderful location for our stay! Really liked the covered parking and even the futon bed was very comfortable!

  • We had a great stay at Unji's place. Everything worked exactly as promised, from check-in through check-out. Unji is very flexible and let us in a few hours early, and responded right away to all emails and texts. My kids and I loved the place, and spent a week exploring Austin by foot. Everything was so close! Place was clean, bright, safe, comfy, and everything worked. My first airbnb experience, and it was flawless. Thanks!

  • Unji's place was a great place to stay! It's conveniently located to everything downtown but still tucked away on a quite street. It's a very comfortable place to stay and Unji is very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying there if you're booking a trip to Austin!

  • West 7th St is a terrific spot to stay in Austin. Within easy walking distance of downtown, Convention centre, whole food markets and cafes, bars and restaurants. We were here for SXSW edu and it proved to be perfect. The apartment is perfectly satisfactory with comfortable bed, space to hang clothes and put bags away, and separate room for watching TV which comes with netflix and more. We'd certainly return here.

  • Unji was a great host and the apartment is in an excellent location. The apartment was clean and well appointed and in an excellent location - no more than 10 or 15 minutes drive to everywhere you want to go in Austin. Also, Unji was very accommodating - our flight was delayed from Chicago nearly 3 hours and Unji was still very happy to help us get checked in and set for the 1st evening. One thing I did not see mentioned in other reviews that I feel I should mention here: If you are very sensitive to noise at night, the bedroom does face a parking lot that is used by numerous people returning from the bars on the weekend - my wife and I lived on a very noisy street in Barcelona the past 2 years so it was no problem for us, but it may be a challenge if you aren't used to it. I do not think there would be noise during the week. That said, I would absolutely stay there again - and do check out Unji's recommendations, they are spot on and you will enjoy your trip better for having read them!

    Response from Unji:

Thanks so much for staying at my place!

  • We arrived 30 minutes earlier than anticipated; therefore, other than her ringer being off for 30 minutes or so, where we had to wait to get into the complex, we had a blast. Great location. Nice place. No washer/dryer. Perfect location and beautiful complex.

    Response from Unji:

Hi Kathy, Thanks so much for staying at the condo! You guys were great! Apologies for the delay on Thursday evening!

  • CHeck in was super easy! Unji has everything you need to know in her house manual and the place was exactly as described. If I could go back in time I would certainly have booked several weeks here. The neighborhood is just a couple blocks off of the main downtown drag with all the restaurant and nightlife you could want access too.

There are several construction sites neighboring the space causing many road detours but surprisingly little noise. Austin Java is just up the street opposite from downtown and provides a kitschy environment if you prefer working at a cafe.

There is a parking space with the unit should you need it, but I found I ditched the car and walked most places since this space was so perfectly located. If it hadn't been so cold, I might have enjoyed the pool area- which was beautiful.

I definitely plan to stay here during my next trip to Austin, and highly recommend it to other travelers!

  • What a clean, spacious apartment in the heart of downtown Austin! The location was ideal, just one block from the bars/cafes and Whole Foods on 6th Street. There is an Austin Bcycle docking station very close, and it made getting to the bike/running path along the river very easy. Unji was a wonderful, flexible host. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This was a great little condo if you want to explore downtown Austin and the surrounding areas. It comfortably sleeps 1-2, and can easily hold 3-4 if you don't mind sharing the bed or futon.

It was well located - much of downtown Austin was within walking distance and just about every neighborhood was within cab distance for about 10 bucks or so.

The unit itself is clean and in good condition. The only criticism I have is the neighbor noise. It wasn't terrible but the walls are very thin! Not a big deal, but noticeable.

Unji was very helpful and communicative. Overall, if you're looking for a place to stay while enjoying what downtown Austin has to offer, this is a great place.
