Andries met us when we arrived and gave us a tour of his place. He was extremely nice and answered any questions we had. The place appeared as it was in pictures and was in a great location.
We stayed 1 night in the appartement of Andries and we really enjoyed our stay ! The appartement is lightful, pleasant and really close to the historical center of Delft ! Andries prepared very well our stay, was helpful and the appartement was clean ! thank you :-) ! The shower in the bathroom is particularly nice ! We really recommand this appartement !
Andreis was great, and his home is very cool. Stairway to the bedroom is a bit steep, so would not recommend for those with mobility difficulties, for everyone else: stay here! He also gave great recommendations, and provided breakfast fixings. Would absolutely stay again.
This is a nice, modern apartment near the city center in Delft. It is only a ten minute walk to all of the sites in Delft and the neighborhood was fine - no problems with noise during our stay.
Others have mentioned the stairs as a problem, but as sixty-somethings we had no problems with the stairs. Our only issue was that the toilet was on a different floor than the bedroom and shower. This made going to the toilet during the night interesting. This is only an issue for elders like us and should not be an issue for younger folks who don't need to regularly go to the toilet during the night.
Overall, we highly recommend this apartment and thank Andries for being a very gracious host.
We really enjoyed our stay at Andries' apartment. He welcomed us warmly, was very friendly and helpful. The location in a very quiet street a bare 10 minutes walk from the city centre was perfect. The apartment has all you need and the bed was comfortable. The stairs to the bedroom are very steep so it may not be suitable for people with limited mobility or very small children. All in all, we strongly recommend it.
We had a lovely stay at Andries' home. He was very welcoming, the check in and check out processes went smoothly, and he provided lots of useful amenities. His home is in an excellent location and the apartment is both lovely and comfortable. It is very quiet except on Friday/Saturday night you will occasionally hear people chatting as they walk or cycle by on the street. As others have mentioned, the stairs are very steep, more like a stepladder in the US.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Andries's home in Delft. The home is in a great location with close proximity to both the train station and city center. Andries was a gracious host and was prompt in responding to messages leading up to and during our visit. His home provided plenty of space and had a few quirky features that have it additional charm. We would recommend using Andries home as a base for future visitors to Delft!
I live in delft for about six years, I really love teh city for its old historic buildings and like to just walk around and do my grosseries. Sometimes I like to go out with my campervan and i work for the railways engineering. Like to meet people from all over the world. My english is not perfect, but I've allways managed to conversate ;)
