Minutes from Mt. Rainier and Crystal Mountain, this beautiful 2 BR chalet plus attached studio apartment is waiting for you in the heart of Crystal Village 2.

This modern and clean mountain home is great for families and boasts the best proximity to Mt. Rainier's Sunrise entrance and Crystal Mountain Resort.

Fully stocked with a chef's kitchen, upscale steam spa, and relaxing outdoor spaces, this house is ideal if you're looking to recharge and make lasting memories.

The space
Enter through the private courtyard and you're immediately greeted with heated floors and plenty of hooks, shelves, and nooks to hang your gear.

The main floor bedroom features a queen bed, 43" smart TV, and dresser. Steps away is the bathroom with separate powder room, washer/dryer, and an unforgettable jacuzzi tub and steam shower. Upstairs you'll find an open to-the-living room sleeping loft with a twin bunk bed, 43" smart TV and classic Nintendo for some old school gaming fun. The large second-floor primary bedroom offers a dedicated work space, another 43" smart TV, one king bed and one full bed tucked away in "the nest", a private space perched high above the bedroom accessible by ladder. Enjoy star gazing from the primary bedroom deck then warm your toes on the 3/4-bathroom's heated floors.

Back downstairs, the main floor kitchen features a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric range, wine fridge, toaster and coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, serving trays, utensils, cutlery, pots and pans, paper products, spices, coffee and tea.

The rustic vaulted dining area seats eight and is attached to the cozy living room where you can sink into the plush sectional sofa and stream Netflix, Hulu, or Prime Video on the 50" TV. Just off the dining and living area lies even more room to spread out: a sunken sunroom with heated floors. It's the perfect spot to escape with a good book or board game (find them inside the sliding door benches).

The attached studio apartment has a private entrance. The quiet space features heated floors, a queen bed and lofted twin bed accessible by ladder--the perfect hideout for a couple and a youth or teen. The dining table seats four, has a small couch, 40" smart TV, and kitchenette with electric range, oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave. The apartment also has a 3/4 bathroom with washer/dryer and is stocked just like the main house. There is a private fenced-in yard and large covered deck.

Enjoy warm nights under the stars or a lazy afternoon relaxing in the ample outdoor space directly off the main floor bedroom, living room, and sunroom. Cook up a meal on the gas grill then enjoy on the outdoor picnic table. Or venture a bit farther: the chalet is a one minute walk from the White River and the community owned private beach.

The home comes stocked with toiletries, detergents, extra towels, blankets, pillows, bedsheets and laundry supplies.

For families traveling with little ones, there are two Pack n'Plays (bring your own toddler sheets), highchair, kids' plates, cups and toys.

Guest access
Easy 24-hour check-in is available with an assigned entry code. There is no physical key to keep track of. Your code will be unique to your stay, and will be reset after checkout.

Other things to note
When not rented, Crystal Rainier Retreat is our family's vacation home. Help us keep the house in great shape and our neighbors happy by abiding by the following rules:

Street parking is not allowed. All cars must be parked in the driveway—there is space for four vehicles. This is a requirement of our Home Owners Association. Double park each other if needed.

Parties, events, and large gatherings are prohibited.

We do not allow more than eight guests at the cabin and three guests at the studio (available as a separate add-on). This includes both day visitors and overnight guests and is due to the size of the property, its septic system, and available parking.

Be considerate of our neighbors. While the area does have several vacation homes, it’s also home to many full-time residents, including our next-door neighbors. Please keep to the premises and be mindful of noise after 10pm.

While we love both pets (and shoes), neither are allowed at Crystal Rainier Retreat.

Fires are not allowed, inside or outside the house. Our Home Owners Association prohibits any exterior fires in our neighborhood. We do not permit fires inside the home due to the potential for guests to inadvertently smoke out the house.

Exterior security cameras are installed onsite. If rules are broken and/or neighbors complain, we may assess a fine depending on the nature of the violation.

Internet outages can sometimes occur as Greenwater is a rural community. In the event of an internet interruption, first try disconnecting all of your devices on the Wi-Fi network. The only available service in the area is DSL which is limited to 3 Mbps download speeds. Too many devices will significantly affect performance as will any type of streaming. Since there are no other options available in the area, we appreciate your understand of this limitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds due to the loss of power or internet.

Cellular service is available at the cabin with some caveats. Verizon often works well for basic usage, but AT&T will continue to be a challenge until their new 5G tower comes online, hopefully in winter '22-'23. The closest location for AT&T coverage is to head down 410 toward Greenwater/Enumclaw and turn off at road NF-70 just before the fire station and use a safe pull-out along that road. Alternately, the fire station has decent coverage. Other communication options can be found in Greenwater.

In case of power outages, this home comes equipped with a stand-by generator ready to automatically kick on so you can continue to enjoy your vacation uninterrupted.

Large snowfalls are a part of mountain living. Be prepared for wintertime driving conditions. Stays when the snow stacks up and driving conditions are tough are covered under the standard cancelation policy. Please review this prior to booking.

Neighborhood highlights

Greenwater is located just 5 minutes down the road. There you can find two cafes, and the classic Naches Tavern. A general store and ski shop are also available if needed.

Or head 20 minutes the other direction to visit Crystal Mountain Ski Resort. Have lunch at the Summit House, with a stunning front-row seat of Mount Rainier, and a 360-degree view of the surrounding Cascade Mountain range and its various volcanos.
