Being within walking distance of both train stations it gives a marvellous opportunity to visit other surrounding historical cities, such as Florence (20 min away by train), Pistoia, Lucca and Pisa. B.B. has 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, all with private bathrooms, and an ample dining and living area leading onto the garden. Breakfast, which will be served in the garden, consists of local and organic products.
I spent in B&B Buonanotte Barbarossa just one night. I was passing by Prato for a wedding and therefore i did not have the chance to enjoy all the good things of this excellent B&B, like the garden, the company of other guests (i was the last guest before xmas closure) and some good time within the B&B cozy living room and so on. But i can just mention the very good welcome when i arrived, the great breakfast the morning after, the peace of the location, the view over the castle and the amazing historical building where the B&B is set. Very good finishings in the rooms and great wooden furniture in the living room and entrance. Definitely Claudia has some taste in those things. I understand Prato cannot keep up the challange with the amazing Florence nearby, but is definitely worth a visit and a quiet stay. Personally i enjoyed the short stay and i would definitely recommend the place and the Hosts (Claudia and Andrea).
