A very cozy apartment at central Milan. Location is superb. Silvia is a good host and we had a lovely time in Milan.
Silvia was great and the apartment was great. Silvia helped me with my arrival and departure as I was arriving late and needed to leave my bags before going to the airport.
The flat is really well located. You can walk to many central parts of Milan, it's close to a beautiful park and it is on a charming pedestrian street full of restaurants and independent shops.
We loved the apartment! Very nice room in a great location. Silvia made everything very easy for us. Would definitely return.
A wonderful apartment in the old centre of Milan, small but intelligently designed. Fits two guests, including the bed (in reference to other guests remarks). While my wife spent time at her conference, I could work using the high speed internet in the apartment, or enjoy life and spend hours walking through the old town, finally using my new Olympus OM-D camera :-)
The apartment is at a 4 min walk from the Lanza subway station, so it's easy to reach by public transport from all major railway stations, and there are 4 tramlines passing by as well.
As soon as you step out of the quaint wooden door, you've got restaurants, trattoria and other eateries all around you. Our favourite was a nice, simple, but wonderful old style italian restaurant called "Grand Italia" at the Corso Garibaldi; turn left when you step out of the door - turn right when you reach the road (Via Mercato) - continue after the traffic lights onto the Corso Garibaldi - after 50 meters on your left! (total 4 min again - everything is really close by).
We're sure we'll be back, sooner rather than later.
Silvia's room is located in a real center of Milan and is surrounded by several fancy restaurants. We can walk to Duomo easily and even garibaldi station was near. The room was really neat and fancy even I desire to have one like that in the future. She does have a great taste.
Look no further! Brera is the place to be. Easy access to all one would want to see during the day and in the heart of nightlife for an authentic Italian experience. I travel Italy a lot and I have to say this was a great little studio. More spacious then the pictures, wi-fi was great, water pressure perfect and a very comfortable bed. All one would need with plenty of provisions. Silvia was accommodating on my arrival and easy to communicate with. The area is safe and everything is just outside the door... Metro, super market, cobble stone pedestrian walkways for wonderful shopping, all the sites within walking distance (don't miss the Triennale di Milano), park, restaurants etc.!
I look forward to my return stay in La Barca ;)
I visited Milan for a long weekend and stayed in the apartment with a friend and it was absolutly perfect for the two of us. Its amazing what has been done with the space. Lovely loacation with some great restaurants on your doorstep, close to the park and an easy walk away from the duomo & shops! We did not meet Silvia, but our friend who lives in Milan organised everything with her to access the property and all was made so easy! So Thank you again for sharing your wonderful apartment with us :)
