Overall an extremely great experience. Will definitely return to this place if visiting San Francisco again in the future.
Even if this is a share living room, this is quiet and well-separated from the entrance. Great for a short stay.
The people are nice, I made great friends and Maria is super attentive and concerned about your home.
In my stay, Maria changed my futon for a new bed and a heater.
But the room is not clean when I arrived I had to do a good cleaning and washing the sheets. The bathroom is reasonable, also the kitchen, the stove has a crust.
This room are not privacy, you can hear noises throughout the house. The space is shared with another person and if you are lucky your roommate will be organized and clean.
Clean house, nice roommates. No problems.
The house was very comfortable and inviting, and in an ideal location for me. Maria is a very hospitable hostess, and was easily able to accommodate the few special requests I made. The bed is comfortable, the people are friendly, and you can't beat the price! Would definitely return.
Maria is a very kindhearted and thoughtful host. She readily makes herself available to guests, when needed. At the same time, she is not overbearing or rude. She makes sure to respect her guest's privacy.
If someone were to decide to rent a space from her on Airbnb, they will not be disappointed. Any house rules are fair and very reasonable. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. All in all, it's a very good value for your money.
Maria handled everything quickly and clearly cares about her tenants. The place isn't the most put-together and is pretty far from complete (especially the basement), but all-in-all it's a tremendous value for the money paid.
- The bed was a tad uncomfortable.
- The bathroom was very clean (Maria and the other roommates cleaned it regularly).
- The other roommates were super awesome.
- Maria is an excellent landlord
- We had a lot of fun
- Great value
I'd absolutely stay here again. You should too.
This is a great house with great people! Obviously people will come and go but I'm very thankful for staying here and plan to stay in touch with the other tenants for years to come. This bed is comfy enough and very inexpensive so I gave it a 5 stars. However, if you are a light sleeper or need a lot of privacy this bed might not be the one for you. I do not require much privacy and am a really heavy sleeper, so the bed being right by the only house door didn't bother me; it may be something to consider of you though.
Other than that I had a great experience! Maria, the host, is super nice and will go out of her way to make sure the guests are comfortable, sometimes even bringing / preparing food.
From what I hear about many other similarly priced guest houses in SF, this one is by far the best.
Maria is super nice and will go out of her way to accommodate you.
I'm glad that I extended my stay. Maria was a very accommodating host, and very easy to get contact with. The some part of the place (kitchen, balcony) is under renovation, so I believe that it's going to be a even better place!
