The space

This large (82 square metre) apartment is modern, comfortable and ideally located. The apartment includes 1 large bedroom, 1 spacious bathroom, an open plan lounge and kitchen, an enclosed front patio/ dining area and a private enclosed leafy back courtyard.

The apartment sleeps a maximum of 4. The separate bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed with quality linens and ample wardrobe space. The sofa in the lounge makes up to 2 singles, or 1 queen bed (see photos for bedding arrangements). Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stovetop, oven, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. Ample crockery, cutlery, glassware and kitchen utensils are provided.

The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning/ heating and an internal laundry with front loading washing machine and dryer (there is also a shared clothes line in the common courtyard area for those who prefer ‘sunshine’ in their clothes). Complementary high speed Wi-Fi internet is included.

The apartment block has wheelchair access from the street, and the apartment is wheelchair friendly with wide doors, spacious rooms and no stairs. Please note that the apartment does not have disability aides, such as grab rails in the bathroom.

Guest access

Keys will be provided in a pin-code locked box accessible from the outside of the apartment. Access to the building is via a security swipe. Guests will have use of the entire apartment and private back courtyard.
Note: the locked storage area off the bedroom is not accessible to guests.

The neighborhood

The apartment is in an excellent locations with everything available within a convenient distance. Sydney is known as the City of Villages and some of the best are within easy walking distance:
- 5 minute walk to the University of Sydney and RPA
- 10 min walk to King Street, Newtown. This is the heart of alternative Sydney and is alive with great bars, restaurants and shopping galore
- 10 min walk to Glebe (famous for its Saturday market, restaurants and bars) and beautiful Blackwattle Bay that overlooks the city, Anzac Bridge with the Harbour Bridge in the distance
- 10 min bus to Central Station (for trains and buses to everywhere!)
- 15 min bus ride to central business district, Opera House, Circular Quay, Harbour Bridge and the Rocks
- 5 min walk to beautiful village of Annandale

There are also multiple cafes and eateries within a 100m from the doorstep, including Duex Ex Machina, Bion, Runcible Spoon, Urban Pizza Bar, Open Korea and Sushi Masa.

There are also excellent supermarkets within a few minutes stroll (Missenden Rd and Booth St Annandale) and a bottle shop and convenience shop at the end of the street.

Everything is just so easy!

Getting around

Public Transport
There are regular buses to the city and Circular Quay that go from bus stops on Parramatta Rd and Pyrmont Bridge Rd, both 2 mins walk from the apartment. Central Railway Station is 10 mins away on the bus, and from here you can get to pretty well anywhere in Sydney.

Parking
Street parking is limited and there are generally 1 or 2 hrs parking limits on weekdays.

Hi! Sydney has been my home for the past 22 years and I'm passionate about this beautiful city. I've travelled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas, and although I love the diversity and excitement of new places Sydney is where my heart is.

I love the outdoors and make the most of the gorgeous beaches, parks and bushwalks that are literally on our doorstep. Coogee Beach is just a bus ride from Newtown and the bushwalk from Taronga Zoo to Bradley's Head provides spectacular views across the harbour to the city.

Eating out and cooking are a favourite pastime, and I am fortunate enough to live in an area that has a diversity of quality restaurants, cafes and bars and amazing produce markets (Carriageworks on a Saturday and Addison Rd Organic Markets on a Sunday).

I have a 'big' social life and am always happy to make suggestions for a broad variety of activities around the city. Camperdown is an excellent location to explore the heart of Sydney as it is so accessible to just about everywhere!

My aim is for my guests to have a relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable stay!
