Lovely and quiet traditional Italian home in the middle of nature of the National Park, with lovely village next door.
Just outside the lovely, historical village of Farindola and the fabulous Parco Nazionale di Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga you find this attractive holiday home.
It's a typical Italian home, with thick walls to prevent the home getting to hot in summer and to cold in winter.
There is a spacious roof terrace with an umbrella, table and chairs, sunbeds and a BBQ.
From the house, terrace and garden there is a fabulous view to the mountains, the village and the surrounding.
In the kitchen you find a fireplace.
Nearby you find a nice new swimming pool with sun beds, umbrellas, bar and a tennis court.
The next door village has a nice historical centre. You find nice bars, restaurants, bank, post office and shops on a walking distance.
Traditional there are lots of nice festivals and 'sagra'.
The beautiful Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park is just a stone's throw away. There you still really enjoy the beautiful nature and clean air.
Inside the house:
Downstairs: entrance, good equipped kitchen with a fireplace, a good sized living, a small bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with bath, wash bowl, toilet and bidet.
Upstairs: 2 large bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 beds, bathroom with a shower, wash bowl, toilet and bidet en the spacious roof terrace.
You have access to the whole house plus garden with fruit and nut trees. Fruits and nuts you eat fresh from the tree.

The village has a nice historical centre. You find nice bars, restaurants, bank, post office and shops on a walking distance.
There are lots of lovely and historical villages like Penne, Loreto Aprutino, Collecorvino etc. nearby. Pescara is a large city with beautiful shops, an old harbour and a new marina. At the old harbour you still can see the old 'trabucchi', the traditional wooden fisherman's houses.
In summer there are lots of festivals in Abruzzo.
Abruzzo has a beautiful nature. About 80% of the surface is protected area. Also the beach is not that far.
When visiting the Parco Nazionale Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga of Parco della Majella, than it is almost incredible that those places still exist. Here you find a unique flora and fauna. There are still wild horses, foxes, bears, deer's, wolves etc. High in the sky you see the most beautiful birds.
In Abruzzo there are good trekking possibilities, you only sometimes have to look for the paths, there are not a great numbers of people using them. But once you found them the reward is great.
Abruzzo is the place to be for the nature lover, wanderer, mountain climber etc. Wander possibilities are in all classes, for beginners and for the very experienced.
Tip: On a hot and sunny day just do like the Italians and have a pick nick high up in the mountains.

Public transport is good. A bus runs past the house. Upon request the bus stops.
Before your arrival we will make sure the house is clean and ready for use. Linen and some towels are included. Of course you will leave the house as if you found it upon arrival.
