Sue and I have owned our chalet for over two years . We decided to make it a special family getaway.
We look for ski and mountain memorabilia to enhance the experience
Our kids are all keen mountain dwellers and Sue is a keen skier whilst I have stuck to the mountain bike trails in and around the Central Plateau
Sharing our spot in paradise has been a scary but rewarding experience ! With the mountain deciding wether it will allow you time on its slopes we have made sure the chalet will provide a space to feel at peace or getting the fire stoked up after a day on the mountain with a strong hot shower is paradise
It's the summer that has made Ohakune come to life ! Sue had done the crossing 9 times! The tracks , trails , white water rafting and canoe trips are all close by and make a summer stay worthwhile
