We spent a lovely time in the middle of Manhattan.
This nice apartment is very accessible and very central for bicycles and Subway. Many small restaurant are not far away. It`s a nice place.
The contact with Jonathan & Leo was very good and fast response.
The room is tight for 5-6 people, especially toilet and shower room.
It was a terrific experience staying at Jonathan and Leo's place. I felt very safe walking in the area... even late at night. The grocery store and good restaurants are all in quick walking distance. The fridge has freezer space to freeze veggies and fruit for smoothies. I brought my own mixer.
I slept well each night, neighbors are friendly, and the space is generous to sleep up to 3-6 people.
Jonathan answered all of my questions professionally, kindly, and promptly. I would love to stay in this space next time I visit the city. On my last day I walked The High Line and it was a must do while there.
Great apartment in a very good location, close to Madison Square Garden and Times Square. We stayed six adults, six nights. The apartment was small, but nice and clean. The service from Jonathan and Leo were excellent. I can truly recommend it.
We spent 6 nights as 5 people. Jonathan and Leo were really nice, it was our first time on Airbnb. My parents who do not speak English very well did the Checkin, it worked perfectly.
The appartement is cosy and clean, suitable for 5, it also has the aircond. However the bathroom is tiny.
We had a great time in NY.
Leo var helt uforberedt på, at vi kom og spurgte "Which flat are you staying in ?"
Vil kun anbefale, at man bor max. 3 (voksne) i lejligheden.
We were happy to accommodate Dorte and her family for her vacation to New York although I would like to answer her review. Along with what you can see here, Dorte left this private comment: “Close to everything in New York. Leo was friendly and gave good information about local opportunities”. I hope this private feedback would have been left in the public review so people would see she had some positive things to add. Our guests who book our apartment usually book for the interior, which is exactly how it looks in the photos. The apartment also sleeps 6 people comfortably and it’s the typical group size we accommodate. With respect to this, the street view is also not provided by Airbnb prior to guests booking so it appears like Dorte is confused about this. We have updated the address on Airbnb! It is also concerning that there was NO communication from the guest when she booked in January 2015 until she got to New York in April 2015. All these issues could have been discussed in the time leading up to her arrival. Instead, she brought a poor attitude when we met which is not really what the Airbnb community is about. We are also unsure as to how we were unprepared for the guest’s check in as Leo was waiting in the apartment for them which was clean and warm when they arrived. One thing we can’t control is the vibrancy of New York City and the noise levels of one of the busiest cities in the world! The apartment is right in the center of all the action, so all our guests take this in their stride and embrace the experience. Dorte really wanted a hotel experience for Airbnb prices which unfortunately can't happen.
The place was exactly as described and the photos are very accurate. The staircase is a bit tight with luggage but that makes the surprise about the nice apartment even bigger! Jonathan and Leo both were super friendly and always at our service, when the heavy snow made the lights go off one day everything was fixed within the hour. The location is incredibly great and the metro station as well as several coffee shops are just around the corner. We were only 4 but the place can easily take in 6 people. We couldn't have wanted more, we definitely enjoyed our stay and we will stay with Jonathan again the next time we're in NY.
