Unbeatable location

100% of guests in the past year gave this location a 5-star rating.
My cute 1890s duplex home is located centrally, just a short walk from the Santa Fe Arts District and a quick ride to South Broadway or Downtown. Easy access to the mountains via 6th Avenue. Urban location with a patio and small yard perfect for a small pet! Please read the entire description and rules before booking.

The space
This is a cozy little space in a historic neighborhood and urban setting. If you like being in the city and still having a little bit of outdoor space, this is for you. It’s not suitable for large dogs. There’s a doggy door for small/medium dogs.

Guest access
Biking and scooters are common modes of transportation. One-way streets are all around, so if you aren't used to driving in a city, you'll just need to watch the signs, the pedestrians, the alleys, etc. This home has street parking only, so you'll need to pay attention to the signs in the neighborhood so you don't get ticketed. A vehicle guest parking permit will be provided for your stay to allow you to park without observing the posted time limits. ( you still have to observe street sweeping signs)

Other things to note
2 bedrooms, and 2 beds, ideal for no more than 3 guests. There’s an air mattress if necessary for a 3rd bed. This is a small space of about 670 square feet total. The bathroom is small with a narrow layout, and can feel really tiny if you’re not used to it!

There are alleys and one way streets in this neighborhood and a moderate amount of foot traffic throughout the neighborhood due to schools and from healthcare staff and hospital nearby. Be careful when driving!

The house has a front porch along a sidewalk that gets lots of passerby’s as well as through the alley.

The neighborhood is gentrifying and changing a bit, and homelessness has increased across the city.

Neighborhood highlights

My home is nestled between the oldest neighborhoods in Denver: Baker, Lincoln Park, and Sunken Gardens, perhaps more familiarly known as the neighborhood "Art District on Santa Fe." Most of the homes in the neighborhood are over 120 years old.

You are within walking distance to many art galleries and the First Friday art walk, Su Teatro, a dual-language group performing works written by Latinx playwrights. Also nearby on Santa Fe is the Museo de las Americas (9th Ave), El Taco De Mexico, El Noa Noa Mexican Restaurant (7th Ave), and the Molecule Effect for Coffee (12th Ave)

Some other well-known landmarks in Lincoln Park are Sunken Gardens Park, Lincoln Park, and Denver’s oldest restaurant, the Buckhorn Exchange: Serving up Steaks, Buffalo, Elk and the Old West since 1893. Need a vegetarian option? Try City O' City! There are a variety of restaurants on Broadway, the Golden Triangle and nearby Capitol Hill and West Washington park.

Downtown, the convention center, and Auraria campus are all just a short bike ride or Green Taxi ride away. The state capitol, Denver city hall, the Denver Art Museum, History Colorado, and other fun locations are all walking and biking distance.

This home borders on the historic Baker neighborhood and is close to restaurants, bars, and entertainment on South Broadway.
