The location offers incredible views of the nearby islands and a stunning sunset. Imagine your living room as your ocean, fit for dining, relaxing on our hammock, or yoga.
Bocas del Toro is a tropical paradise, known for its boating and sailing, diving and snorkeling, dolphin tours, epic surfing, and famous nightlife.
The property is very minimal and it’s more about having easy access to nature and connecting with the wild.
There are 2 twin beds and 1 double mattress.
There is a refrigerator, a sink, silverware, a hot plate, a coffee makers and a toaster.
A working shower and toilet that runs on a water pump with a water filter.
It is ideal for young students, and backpackers, with the feel of a hostel but with more privacy.
Interaction with Guests
Minimal. But our property manager is your local Caribbean neighbor and will be there to meet and greet you and show you around. He will give you a copy of the keys and is available for boat rides, laundry and other modes of service.
Although it's a mere 10min boat ride from the main town of Bocas del Toro, Isla Bastimentos is a different world. The northern coast of the island is home to palm-fringed wilderness beaches that serve as nesting grounds for sea turtles, while most of the southern coast consists of mangrove islands and coral reefs that fall within the boundaries of the Parque Nacional Marino Isla Bastimentos.
The main settlement on Bastimentos is the historic West Indian town of Old Bank, which has its origins in the banana industry. Here, you'll hear Gali-Gali, the distinctive Creole language of Bocas del Toro Province that combines Afro-Antillean English, Spanish and Ngöbe-Buglé.
Here you can eat amazing West Indian food, and listen to Caribbean tunes at local restaurants and bars.
There are no roads on the island of Bastimento. The only mode of transportation on the island is by walking, but you can take boat taxis around the island and to near by islands.
