Great space in authentic Williamsburg warehouse conversion, artist friendly building. Apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 queen sized bed and 1 couch in the living room to accommodate a third person. It's a 5th floor walk up but there is access to the freight elevator whenever you need it. The apartment has a 14ft ceilings and a beautiful view of brooklyn. Apple TV with netflix and HBO, tons of books, dvds, records and some of my instruments are included. (Please please please be extra kind to my instruments if you use them). It's just a 4 minute walk to second stop into Brooklyn on both the J and L trains which means you are just 2 stops away from both Union Square and the Lower East Side. Close to more bars and restaurants than you will ever need. I'll even give you a list of my favorites. A great place to experience all Williamsburg has to offer.
The rules of the place are pretty simple. Respect the place and the neighbors. If you smoke please do so on the fire escape. It's beautiful out there anyway.

we had a pleasant stay. Apartement well located to explore Brooklyn, close to Subway station. Taryn's apartment is spacious, Clean ans comfortable
The apartment was great and HUGE for Brooklyn. The location was ideal with access to both the L and the G, as well as a number of coffee shops/restaurants/bars. Other than a little confusion with the key (it wasn't Taryn's fault), our stay was perfect. The only problem we ran into was that it was difficult to get in contact with anyone who managed the apartment. We weren't in contact with Taryn at all, and it took a while to get in contact with Jaleel (the person who managed her place while she was gone). Despite this problem, our stay was wonderful.
Our stay on Taryn's flat was perfect. The flat is close to Hewes Street subway and it was very easy to go to Manhattan. The flat is large and cosy, the little kitchen is well equiped. Williamsburg is full of surprises and we found there lots of little restaurants and shops. It is a good alternative for a quite stay in New York.
Taryn's apartment is beautiful, warm, and welcoming with many comforts. It is spacious, clean, and the bed is really comfortable. There is ample space for suitcases and travel paraphernalia and the high ceilings give a lovely feeling of expanse. Interesting artwork is everywhere and there is a nice selection of books and CDs.
My parents spent 15 days in Taryn's apartment. They say the following about their experience: "We loved every minute of it. It is a 'cool' place, but warm and spacious. The kitchen-utensils are rather basic (just one wineglass!) and we would have preferred a less soft mattress, but that's a matter of personal taste. Walking the stairs to the 5th floor is a bit tiring, but can also be regarded as a healthy exercise. For our next trip to Brooklyn we will certainly try to get Taryn's apartment again!"
Taryn's apartment was located at a very nice area in Brooklyn. It was within walking distance from subway stops. Being an absolute foodie, the location was perfect with many food choices around the corner. Taryn even prepared her own list for exploration.
It was a brilliant experience staying at the apartment. The furnishing of the place was different and very indie. Taryn was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
I am a New York filmmaker/photographer. I've been a New Yorker for 7 years and lived in Williamsburg through all of them. I travel a lot for a work and would love to share my space with others while I'm away.
