Beautiful Williamsburg loft

Apartment - Entire home/apt · S 2nd St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

The Space

Great space in authentic Williamsburg warehouse conversion, artist friendly building. Apartment has 1 bedroom, 1 queen sized bed and 1 couch in the living room to accommodate a third person. It's a 5th floor walk up but there is access to the freight elevator whenever you need it. The apartment has a 14ft ceilings and a beautiful view of brooklyn. Apple TV with netflix and HBO, tons of books, dvds, records and some of my instruments are included. (Please please please be extra kind to my instruments if you use them). It's just a 4 minute walk to second stop into Brooklyn on both the J and L trains which means you are just 2 stops away from both Union Square and the Lower East Side. Close to more bars and restaurants than you will ever need. I'll even give you a list of my favorites. A great place to experience all Williamsburg has to offer.

  • Very beautilful, cozy and quiet loft. We were very happy to come back 'home' after an exhausting day of shopping. and just relax or fall asleep on the comfortable bed. The building is well located between the L and G trains which bring you in the city in a matter of minutes. A 5-10 minute walk to Bedford Ave where you'll find hip bars and restaurants. Taryn left us a list of places to check out in the neighborhood which we really appreciated. Communication with her was A1 and she answered promptly all of my questions. Overall I would absolutely recommand and come back to Taryn's apt anytime I come back to NYC.

  • Taryn was a great host! If I plan to stay in Brooklyn again I will definitely stay in her apartment again. It was an easy subway ride away from Manhattan as well. Great Location and a Great Host!!

  • Taryn's place was great, from first contact to when we left, everything was really easy. The apartment is gorgeous and in a perfect location for exploring Brooklyn or heading into Manhattan. If you do stay here listen to her tips - we had superb meals in the neighbourhood (the chicken biscuit and Pies n Thighs being the highlight!). Tayrn was friendly and easy to get in touch with throughout our stay. We'll be back!

  • This place is the exact opposite to staying in a soul-less hotel. It was everything we could have asked for in a home away from home! Taryn came to let us in and was super-welcoming, including a list she'd compiled of all the best places to eat, drink and visit during our stay. The loft is clean and cosy, absolutely gorgeous, full of light with soaring ceilings, and full of plants, art, books, vinyl and instruments. There was even a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay! Our week in Brooklyn was definitely not enough- I would stay here again like a shot.

  • Taryn and Jaleel were the most incredible hosts we could have asked for! After having our previous Airbnb booking cancelled ten days before our arrival, we were absolutely overjoyed to find such an amazing place at such short notice. My boyfriend and I stayed there for the entire month and we were so sad to leave!

They were able to answer all our questions and left us a long list of restaurants, bars and cafes nearby that proved invaluable - they have seriously good taste!

The loft itself is even more beautiful than it appears in the photos - and it is huge! High ceilings, wooden floorboards and great art pieces everywhere. T & J also have an amazing collection of books and records to keep you occupied in your downtime.

The bed is extremely comfortable (two mattresses!) and thanks to the hard-working heater even in the freezing winter we were warm and cosy inside :)

We can not speak of our experience highly enough and would recommend this 'beautiful Williamsburg loft' to everyone... we can't wait to come back!
