Get to know the climate of Nowa Huta, constructed as a “socialist city”. Find a lodging in a block of flats from 1960. The atmosphere of your room will introduce you to living in what was developed as a workers’ city.

The space

But also Krakow Old Town will be within easy reach. You can quickly get to the centre of Krakow (15 minutes) and Kazimierz (20 minutes) by tram. Tram service operates also at night. If you like walking, you can reach the centre of Nowa Huta on foot in 10 minutes. You can park your car at the block of flats free of charge.

The room is relatively small. It’s furnished in a simple, but comfortable way. The convertible sofa is 120 cm broad, so extra charge for another person is small. The walls are decorated with photographs of the construction of Nowa Huta and subsequent historical changes. There are also some mementoes from the old days.

Guest access

You’ll have access to the kitchen-dining room and the kitchen facilities. The bathroom is equipped with a shower.

I was only there for one night and I only spoke with Tomasz once, but it was an enjoyable stay. It was quiet, the apartment was very clean, and Tomasz was very helpful and informative about the area.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay with Tomasz. This was my first time in Krakow but I felt right at home as soon as I walked in the door. Not only did he provide me with all the necessary amenities, but went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Tomasz also provided maps, books, a lot of info about the city and even took me on a bike tour around historical Nowa Huta. The flat was exceptionally clean and very well organized and the room is highly underrated. The location couldn't be better. The flat is within a minute of the tram stop which takes you to the centrum, about 5 minutes from a huge supermarket/shopping center and in case you'd like to stay fit and active, there is a gym right next door, which has everything you could think of. I would definitely stay with Tomasz again. Highly recommend!!!

Good place not in the city center but with a really good logistic directly to the down town. Convenient apartment to stay for couple of nights.

I don't suggest to book this place with only one or two days notice because if you receive the confirmation that your request has been accepted but you do not need the place any more and you send a message to let him know and you cancel the request. Anyway he charge it to your card. Without letting you know you will be charge.

Thomas is a great host, especially I liked that I could easily use the kitchen to prepare my food, and keep some stuff in the fridge. I slept great, it was quiet and clean, good shower with hot water. Thomas is very friendly and helped me with my broken suitcase. The location is good, direct trams from the main train station, and elevators at the intersections if you have large luggage. Also within a few minutes walk is a large shopping center with Carrefour where I could find not only unripe red bananas to feed my intestinal bacterial flora, but even wild roe deer meat.

If you are looking for a small place to stay at night, this is the place. Nice, clean, fragrant place with a kind host. Tomasz helped us with public transport in Krakow and was overall very helpful.

The appartment is even cooler than it looks. It is very cozy and comfortable. Tomasz is an awesome person, he gave me many tips and directions. The appartment is in front of a tram that takes you to the centre in 15 min, highly recomended! :)
