Read this review from our first guest-
"Sittin' in your wonderful barn,
or listening to you spin a yarn,
It was fate that we found your happy place:)
To 'checkout' momentarily from the rat race.
We were so grateful to stay & rest our bones,
We will be back for fall foliage &
more of those divine scones!"

The Zen Farmhouse is a tobacco-free and drug-free location so please do not to bring any tobacco or illegal drugs onto the property.

Guest access

The guest have access to the "Great Room" and limited kitchen privileges with refrigerator and pantry space. They can walk the trail in the field and the woods, use the barbeque, the patio area and lawn.

Interaction with guests

I do host my guests as much or as little as they want. Most guests have their trips laid out but if not I can give suggestions on where a good fishing hole is or a beautiful hike or a great restaurant. Most often I have some morning interaction at breakfast as guests plan their day.

Other things to note

Check out the Sullivan County Visitors Association for what's happening in the area.

Diana was an amazing host! She was very accommodating to my late arrival. Her house is beautiful and very peaceful. The backyard and path to the woods were beautiful, and I loved her little dog Jaya. She was very helpful with suggestions of places to go and things to do. Altogether a very restful place to get away from the city for a few days. Highly recommended.

Diane is a wonderful and knowledgeable host. If you're looking for a little r&r away from the city, this is a perfect spot. Love the setting of the space, with a large field and forest nearby. We were up for a quick trip for a wedding nearby and Diane was very accommodating to us and gave excellent recommendations for nearby activities/food.

As soon as she walked in the door, Diana oozed an easy going and kind vibe. I felt immediately at home in her lovely Zen Farmhouse which looked exactly as photoed and described. The other guests were fun and interesting - all of us, including Diana, went out for dinner one night. This was a perfect fit for me, as I am working in the area and is a great retreat after a long, hard day.

I haven't met Diana in person, but she guided me on the phone through every step to have a great weekend at the Zen farm! Andre was in charge on welcoming and YES a great host indeed. The room is exactly like in the pictures, waste no more time and book your stay. I can't wait to go back!

spent a beautiful weekend at the zen farmhouse. Diana was very accommodating & flexible and let us do a day and a half rate. She gave us great recommendations for nature and culture activities and lent us her heavy duty ponchos to go hiking in the rain! I wish we could have stayed longer :-/
