Lucrezia and Nino are very kind, nice people and their studio is adorable with a great location on one of the most picturesque streets in the old section of Nice. I really enjoyed my stay - thank you!
Lucrezia is a very likeable host and the apartment is exactly as described and seen in the pictures- comfortable, clean and perfectly situated. I definitely recommend staying there!
Had a lovely experience in the studio in Nice, it's an exquisite base to be and to explore from, many thanks to Lucrezia & Nino for preparing the place for an enjoyable stay !
Perfect location, close to the beach. Nice apparment, clean, comfortable, modern, and a free wok out going up the four stairs. In the middle of a vibrant city center an still pretty quiet, just close the windows. Nice host in Nice and breakfast was included! We recomend it!
We had a fantastic stay in Nice, the apartment was right in the centre of old Nice, with a great view of the waterfall and you could see the Cathedral from the apartment! Everything we needed was close to hand. The flat was very clean, all essentials were provided for us. Lucrezia was there to meet us when we arrived, and was very friendly and helpful. Can't stress enough how wonderfully located this apartment is. You can hear the hustle and bustle of the street below, however you have the convenience of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. If this concerns you, the flat is double glazed which blocks out the majority of the noise anyway. Amazing value for money. Thank you for a brilliant holiday!
Lucrezia and Nino gave us a hearty welcome in their small, nicely kept appartment. The location is excellent - right in the middle of the tourist buzz of the Old Town. The place is clean, and everything is perfectly in order: a bathroom with a very pleasant shower, a surprisingly comfortable sofa bed, and a kitchen with all the necessary equipment provided. All in all, we were very pleased to spend 10 days here!
The drawbacks, if you could call them that, are relatively minor. The (public) internet connection really doesn't work too well, so don't expect to use it a lot. Sometimes, there was a bit of noise: the walls are thin (I've heard the infamous guitar player tune up as early as 8 in the morning!). As it is situated in the old center of town, the location itself is also little tumultuous at night, but the noise level was never a serious problem.
All in all, we had a really great time, and we'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who's staying in Nice!
We had a wonderful week in nice and enjoyed the location in the middle of the old town of nice. Nino and Lucrezia were very friendly and eager to help.
The apartment was clean and cosy if you are fine with approximately 14 square metres!
Four stars because I had problems using the Internet and the flat was due to its location very loud also in the middle of the night.
The flat is small, but lovely: well equipped, a brand new bath room, a washing machine... Nino gave us a warm welcome and let us in a bit earlier so we could already leave our bags behind. Another plus is the location: in the middle of town, near lots of places to eat and a 5 minute walk to the beach.
Although the location is brilliant for exploring the city, at night it's less appealing: it was very hot during our stay, so we had to keep the windows open, but that means a lot of noise from outside: first the people in the bars and restaurants till late at night, and then when you finally fall asleep, they start cleaning the city and you have to noise of the garbage men etc.
But all in all, I would definitely recommend this flat for a stay in Nice!
First of all we would like to acknowledge this apartment has a lot of character.
However, we ran into a number of issues during our stay in July.
1) The internet was extremely unstable and weak. We would get kicked off it every few minutes and had to sign in again every time it happened. You can't even get a signal most times. This was very inconvenient as we rely on the internet to look up information regarding the city we are visiting.
2) There were dirty towels in the bathroom when we arrived.
3) The bottom left corner of the sofa bed was missing a wooden support so the bed sags when we tried to lie on it. My bf's leg would fall off while sleeping!
4) Without a fan or A/C, we had to leave the windows open to be comfortable. By doing so, there were a lot of Mosquitoes in the apartment. We also had to deal with the noise from the bars down below as well as the street cleaning crew afterwards.
5) This is a very old building with very steep steps. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor (which is 4th floor in North American standard). Do not stay here if you have heavy luggage (like we did) or have bad legs.
The only positive thing about this place is the shower! The water pressure was very good and the bathroom was very clean other than the dirty towels.
We emailed our hosts with the list of issues we had the first night we were in Nice during a 4 nights stay. They never got back to us. We ended up purchasing a fan from Carrefour to resolve the hot weather issue so we could close the windows at night.
