Staying with Liz was great. She was very kind, and the apartment was only a few blocks from the subway. Room was small, but fine for a short stay.
First and foremost, Liz is a great host and person. After the New Year's Eve party I got separated from my brother and he was left stranded in manhattan. Liz got out of bed to drive me back to Times Square to bring him home. That is great kindness and human spirit.
The apartment is cool. Right next to the train line to manhattan.
Comfortable and clean.
Thank you Liz!!
Stayed at Liz's apartment with my family and relatives over the New Year holidays and the 12 of us fit quite comfortably. The basic amenities are sufficient such as the beds, the kitchen, the toilets and the wifi internet connection, all of which are very important to us.
The place is near the subway station (J Line), around 5 minutes away by foot, which is right next to a couple of grocery stores.
Two hings which need improving are one, the lock in one of the bathrooms which Liz said a former guest had broken, and two, the area where the old gym equipment are stocked could be maximized. Also, if you plan to use the free cellphones, let Liz know ahead of time so she can arrange for them.
But the best thing about our stay was Liz herself. As described in other reviews, she is a perfect host: gracious, sociable, congenial and helpful to the last minute. We especially appreciated her assisting us in getting 2 taxis to take us to the airport which could have been really challenging (with all our luggage!) because of the snowfall the day we left.
Thanks for a wonderful stay, Liz! See you soon!
Liz was amazing!!!! we had a group of 16 students staying during the New Year week. It was a little packed for that many people but you can manage it as long as you don't bring too much luggage. The train stations, grocery stores are close. She was really helpful with everything
Nice place very easy access and parking. Liz was a great host and the room was just what we needed

The day before we left, my liz called to warn me that the room was reserved No longer available 'She asked me if I agreed to change the place, she did research on airbnb to find us the equivalent, stating that she take the price difference. having no choice, I have accepted her proposal.
so we ended up in a house habited by a couple and a baby, very nice people, but apparently not really ready to receive three people, since we stayed in their room so that they slept in their living room, behind a screen.
for 3 people, we were sleeping in the couple s bed and a "bed" of extra ridiculously small (an adult has trouble holding lying above) . Very disappointing experience for the price despite the home of the family of parts and good comments from providing Lize.
The place was very nice. There were enough beds for all of us. Liz was kind and helped us by providing good advice about transportation through NYC. I highly recommend this place.
We stayed at Liz Apartment for 2 nights and we liked it a lot!
Its a good alternative to an expensive Apartment in Manhattan and with the nearby subway you are quite fast in eg. Downtown.
Also Liz was a very good host, everthing workd well even we booked only one day before and we came to her place quite late at about 11pm. So i would recommend it for sure!
Liz was a great host, very generous and informative. It was spacious with a decent sized kitchen and bathroom and basic facilities provided. Close to subway station and shops, about 30-40 mins to most Manhattan sites, with a train change generally required. The area can feel a little off putting, but we had no problems during our stay! Nice, clean and affordable accomodation.
Stellar! Superb! Magnificent! Basically, any word that is synonymous to "incredible" is applicable in the case of Liz's place.
At onset, the first thing you notice is the wonderful personality of the host, Liz. She's a gem - hands down. If the world was filled with more "Liz"s then it would be a much better place.
Along with the impeccable host, you will find a phenomenal living space. The host is border-line anal, in regards to cleanliness (and that is not a insult in anyway). She goes out of her way to make sure that you are comfortable and that everything is in "tip-top" condition.
LOCATION: You're close to food (a whole HEAP of food) and two subway lines. You can get to Manhattan with just a short trip.
Book with Liz. Trust me,
