Situated on Rione Regola in Old Rome, it is really a great location to explore the city on foot. Piazza Navona,Pantheon,Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, Vaticano, Colosseo and many others are a short walk away.
The flat is on Piazza Campo di Fiori and really close toTrastevere (Considered the heart of the city’s historic centre). This part of Rome is without a shadow of doubt the best known and most visited by tourists, who often head straight for cheerful piazza Navona, with its famed fountains, its street artists and portrait painters; for the Pantheon, another major symbol of Rome together with the Colosseum, and for Campo de Fiori, a multi-coloured and vibrant piazza where youngsters flock to in the evenings for an aperitif or a chat after dinner.
In the surrounding area there are many excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs ,shops always open.
Every morning, in Campo di fiori square, there's a open air-market with fresh fruits and typical italian products.
-Campo dè fiori-
If it is sunny, you'll catch a few young people and older gentlemen sitting at the base of a statue in the middle of the open space The statue is a brooding, hooded Giordano Bruno—an excommunicated Dominican monk and one of the earliest cosmologists who held the idea of an infinite universe—burnt at the stake for heresy on this spot on 17 Feb. 1600.
The piazza is used as a marketplace during the day, and party central for college students and tourists at night. When the sky gets dark and the street lamps go on, the Campo de' Fiori fills with people and lovers wander arm in arm in the crowd. Over the buzzing of conversation and the occasional burst of laughter you may hear a young vocalist belt out O Sole Mio at the top of his lungs as change plunks into his accordion case.

I feel so lucky that we found this GEM of an apartment on this site! Giulia was an incredible host. Her place is perfectly located two steps away from Campo di Fiori (which is one of the most exciting piazzas in the city- bustling with markets every day and wonderful restaurants and bars at night!). And although you are so close, it is exceptionally quiet with the sound-proof windows closed. Our room was super clean and comfy. GIULIA even gave us tour books/maps, and lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat. She even supplied some drinks and food for us to help ourselves to. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you Giulia!
The apartment is located in the Best location of Rome. We spent 5 nights in the lovely clean apartment and everything was just Great. The beds are comfortable, it is quiete nice clean apartment. Guilia is very nice and helpful person. She gave us everyday some nice food in a fridge for a breakfast so that was very lovely and tasty. We felt like in the hotel, she give us a clean towels and everything what was needed. We love this area and will definetely recomend this apartment to our friends. The nice restaurant and cafes just one minute from the apartment. All main atractions are reachable by food. Thanks fopr everything, we will have really nice memories from our visit of Rome.
Nice location! The host is VERY helpful. Even though you are staying "in" her house, it feels like your own apartment. You will enjoy the place:)
The pictures undersell how nice the apartment is. Giulia is a great host, providing breakfast food and hotel-level accommodations. Would definitely stay again
Nice & warm welcome from Giulia! She was prompt in responding to my queries as it was my first time in Rome and unsure of many stuff. Towels, Shampoo and Shower Foam all provided and Breakfast too! Nice place as its right below Campo de Fiori, market in the day and bars, restaurants at night.
We truly enjoyed our stay in Rome for two nights at Giulia's. Her apartment is very spacious and clean. We had a bathroom and shower all to ourselves. She is right next to the Campo de'Fiori, which has a very entertaining market by day and then lots of bars and restaurants by night. It's a quick walk to all the great sights, and not far from the Trastevere, which was a neighborhood we really enjoyed for dinner and drinks.
Giulia was a very pleasant host. She provided some good breakfast foods/snacks for us. The location of the apartment, right on campo de fiori, was as good as it gets. When you walk out the front door, there are a plethora of restaurants to choose from, and during the day, there is a great farmers market in the square (although the apartment doesn't have a kitchen to cook anything you buy at the farmers market, but it's still fun to walk around and look at everything). There is a small restaurant directly below the apartment and this place makes the BEST lasagna (and fairly priced since it's not a real sit down restaurant, but there are some table and chairs if you do want to eat it there).
Giulia did provide lots of information on where to go and what to see. We mostly had our vacations planned out, but if we needed any tips, we could find it right in our room. The bathroom was very clean and nice, and the bed was plenty big for 2 and comfortable, but a bit firm (which some people really like). The only reason I didn't give her 5 stars is because we kind of felt like we had to be pretty quite whenever in the apartment because Giulia has a young child. Our half of the apartment was pretty well separated from Giulia's half, but we still felt a bit uncomfortable making too much noise.
Overall, great apartment, great host, and unbelievable location.
Our experience staying with Giulia was very enjoyable. From the moment we arrived, Giulia and her husband was very friendly in getting us settled into the house and gave us quick intro to eating and seeing around her neighborhood. We enjoyed the rooms and the snacks that Giulia kindly provided us. We liked the layout and the decorations of her house as well. So overall highly recommended for a stay in Rome!
