Es un apartamento muy lindo y la zona está muy agradable. Rogerio nos facilitó todo. Buena opcion!
My 1st Airbnb experience couldn't have been better. Planning and organizing things with Rogerio were easy-going. Even though we never met, he was a lovely host from the first day to the last: leaving beers, fruits etc. for my first evening, providing useful tips about SP, calling all his friends to find an English-speaking dentist for me.... the list goes on.
It was not hard to feel home after very little time: The apartment offers everything you need, furniture and decorations are picked with love, it's very clean and the sun shining through huge glas doors make this a light and peaceful place in the exciting city.
I feel more than comfortable to recommend staying at Rogerio's place to anyone!
First of all, Rogerio is the consummate host. He is not only a great host, he is a genuinely good person. This is obvious in his interactions with guests and you can feel it in his home.
The studio is immaculately clean, smartly appointed, and well stocked with anything you need to cook an amazing meal (several markets, including the Sunday open air market are all withing very short walking distance). Note that the kitchen is equipped with its own water filter, and this can be a small savings for those that are on a budget.
The location of the studio cannot be beat. It is in the heart of Sao Paulo but retains a sense of openness as it overlooks the liveliest square in the city (author's opinion), with many theaters, performance spaces, bars, restaurants, and live music. You wouldn't need to leave the very block to have an amazing Sao Paulo experience, but it is also very close to metro and bus lines and is a great base for exploring.
If I could give Rogerio more than 5 stars I would. I just adore him and his home.
Nice place ! Really serious owner ! Really really recommended place !! ( in a safe quarter !! )
Perfect place - awesome location - responsive host - what else could you ask?
I stayed in Rogerio's apartment for 6 weeks.
It's a perfect place for long and short term stay:
1) nice location (square, metro, bars, restaurants, park). Basically it's located between downtown and Paulista Avenue.
2) nice apartment itself. Everything is new. Also you will love balcony! I personally spent there so much time. It has great view on the square.
3) great host (Rogerio provided very detailed guest's guide with nice suggestions. He was very responsive and helpful).
After 6 weeks I had feeling that this place is my home. Which I guess is the greatest compliment:)
I would definitely highly recommend this place.
If you think 'bohème', look no further: this stylishly refurbished sunny studio is on THE MOST bohemian square of SP! It is the very center, and spacious Praça Roosevelt has just been reconstructed in accordance with all the 'new urbanity' concepts in mind. Lots of natural wood panels, green and sleek even spaces for street riders. On Rua Martinho Prado, lots of small independent theaters and coolest cafes are located; among them - an experimental Espace Satyros where every night you can observe free happenings and performances of young actors.
The apartment itself is sunny, very stylish and has all amenities apart from the washer - which is compensated by the near-by laundrettes. The best thing for us was a walk-in wardrobe where we could store our toddler's toys and clothing out of site! In the evenings, you can relax on the terrace with a glass of wine, looking at a never-sleeping street life of downtown SP.
The host Rogerio was on travel and we were assisted by his charming friend Fernando who took a great care of us, showing us around, helping with tips and telling wonderful stories about urban Sao Paulo.
