  • Eli and Agus spent an hour on check-in, giving us advice and information on the flat and neighbourhood. The flat is lovely and pretty spacious, although the single room is an internal room with no window. This a convenient place to stay - near the metro and Plaza Espanya for the airport bus. A very good area for eating and drinking - and an informative list left by the hosts pointing the way. The four nights we stayed, we did not feel the need to go further than a couple of blocks.

  • This was a superb base from which to explore Barcelona. Agus and Eli met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. Eli also welcomed us with some fresh bread and milk.
We still have a lot to see in Barcelona so I am sure we will be back!

  • Beautiful and spacious flat, a bit of a hike from the main sights, but easily accessible via public transit or a leisurely stroll. Eli & Agus were super friendly and easy to communicate with. They have put a lot of stylish and thoughtful touches into the design of the space. I would definitely stay here again!

  • Lovely apartment and we were made very welcome by Eli and Agus, who left us a useful map and recommended some places. It's a beautiful building in a great location; about a half hour leisurely walk to the centre. Being so close to Parallel, the traffic noise is noticeable but not too bad with the double glazed doors closed. If you're a light sleeper, earplugs are a good idea (as they would be in most locations in a busy city like Barcelona). Altogether a lovely place to feel like a local while being close to all the action. There's everything you might need nearby; a pastisserie shop, pharmacy and bar on the same block; a 24hr mini-mart just round the corner on Parallel. We would stay here again.

  • Stayed here for the Barcelona Marathon with my mom and sister. The apartment could not have been better. Eli was on hand when we arrived late on Friday night to give us lots of suggestions of what to do and see during our visit. There was also fresh bread and milk on our arrival. The apartment was also perfect, had absolutely everything that we needed the weekend. Its in a great location with some excellent local bars and stores close by. I could not recommend this apartment highly enough for a trip to Barcelona.

  • This was a superb base from which to explore Barcelona. We are three 60+ travellers and found the apartment matched our requirements perfectly. Agus met us at the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. We loved the exterior of the building, the comfortable beds, the airy living room and the interesting artwork on the walls.
We still have a lot to see in Barcelona so I am sure we will be back!

  • I stayed for a week in February 2014, primarily for Mobile World Congress (MWC) and a few days extra to see Barcelona. Since MWC is at Fira Europa, my commute was an 5-minute walk to Placa Espanya, and then the train 3 stops to MWC. All together about 15-20 minutes door-to-door, or take a taxi which is about the same amount of time in high traffic.

This was a very clean, high quality apartment, in an excellent location with proximity to the Poble Sec Metro stop (which gets you to all the best places within a few minutes).

Agus provided great communication, and met us at the flat. He provided a "starter kit" of coffee, milk, bread, and fruit for the breakfast the next day. Also, he answered questions about the neighborhood including restaurants, market, etc. They have a board with cards from nearby restaurants recommended by them and their guests, which was great.

PROS: Great Location with excellent metro access, Fun Building, Clean and modern apartment, good beds, great shower and hot water pressure, amenities such as hair dryer and iron/ironing board included, resonable quality wi-fi, good heating, nice modern kitchen with coffee maker, toaster, microwave.

CONS: Street noise (for those who are sensitive) - it's right outside Av. de Parallel, which is a "main drag" and the motor scooter traffic can be problematic (Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper).

  • Thanks Eli & Agus for the super likable welcome. The appartment is well situated, comfortable and cosy and furnished and decorated with lots of love, we really felt at home.
A small and only minus is the big street in front of the building that does not allow to open the windows and enjoy the nice Barcelona weather.
But we highly recommend the appartment for a pleasant stay!
