Host was excellent, provided a great little apartment which lived up to our expectations and more. Located in an excellent area, it was a stones throw to the Pantheon, RER station, Notre Dame, Bars and all the food you could ever want.
What a magic location. shortly after I arrived I was looking out one of the windows at "the rooftops of Paris" when the bells from one of the near by steeples began ringing…it was as if I were being welcomed to Paris.
Stephanie met me right away to take me up to the room. Everything was clean inside the room and it looked just like the pictures I quickly explored my "neighborhood" and found the little grocery store and boulangerie near by. Being right next to Luxembourg Garden was such a gift…I loved going there for coffee and to listen to music from the band stand. There is a post office right across from the senate building and metro, RER and bus stops nearby.
I do want to say that there are about a flight and a half of very steep, spiral stairs that are difficult for a disabled person and also be sure you understand how to turn on the hall lights.
Thank you Stephanie this was a n excellent location for my Paris adventure.
Petite chambre très agréable et surtout très bien située.
La vue des toits de Paris par mes velux à beaucoup de charme.
C'est un petit lieu idéal pour un court séjour dans la capitale !
The apartment is located in a really good location and its a really good value for money. It's a few steps to the metro station and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room is clean and tidy. We had a really good stay there and will stay here next time when we come to Paris again!
Un muy buen piso en París, ubicación céntrica, el edificio es encantador. Perfecto para viajar solo o en pareja, la vista es espectacular y muy seguro.
Stephanie fue muy accesible para todo.
très bon séjour dans cette petite chambre bien sympa
I stayed in the room for 6 weeks and overall it was quite nice. The room is small, but for one person it works just fine, and for two it is tight, but functional. It was quite new, clean, and everything worked perfectly. The bed isn't the most comfortable, but it is big. The room is located in the top corner of the building, meaning that you have to go up some tight stairs, which can be difficult if you have a large suitcase (the elevator doesn't go all the way up). Stephanie was quite helpful fixing a small issue that arose. The location is perfect! Within 15 minutes you have so many good sights, restaurants, museums, etc. If there is one complaint it is that on two consecutive weekends there were parties in neighboring rooms that went on until 2 or 3 in the morning, despite asking them to be quiet. I would highly recommend staying here and if I return to Paris I would certainly go back!
We planned to spent a week in Paris for our work, and we decided to stay at Stephanie's place. The small apartment, located in the very heart of the city, right near Sorbonne and Sciences Po. It is very functional, comfortable and clean. The very affordable price makes it a perfect solution for one or two persons looking for a place to have a rest after a day spent outside, enjoying the city or working. There are plenty of cinemas all around. We are looking forward to come back, next time we will be in Paris, and we definitely recommend it.
