SKI HOUSE Ski in/ski out..Sleep in!

The Space

Come experience Bolton Valley like a local! Stay in our unique, fun mountain home.....kick back...relax. This 4-6 person chalet is high up a mountain road in a unique neighborhood of ski homes. The home is situated at a higher elevation than the start of all Bolton Valley's 5 lift lines (which means from the house you can ski down to the lifts or hike up 20 minutes to top for first tracks - although you'll have to race our neighbors ;)).

Our clean duplex home is fully designed for snow-sport enthusiast while also considering the importance of après-ski comfort and fun. Our space is perfect for families or couples looking for convenience and privacy, not often found in the humdrum of a hotel room. You will have WiFi, satellite TV with HBO, linens, full kitchen, fireplace, and new washer and dryer, all to yourself.

Bolton Valley is well known for amazing back-country skiing as well as being the area's family friendly ski destination. The Resort is the closest ski resort to Burlington (30 minutes) and equal distance to Montpelier and Stowe. You would only be 13 miles away from Waterbury; a hotspot for après-ski food, wine and beer. Even closer, there is always the tavern at the resort (short walk or ski).

Whether you are looking for solitude or adventure we can provide you with information on anything in the area. Please don't hesitate to contact us for questions or recommendations.

  • Another great stay! This really is a wonderful house in a fabulous location. There was plenty of room for us, the two kids, and the two dogs. Comfy furniture, a well-outfitted kitchen, cozy beds, and just steps to the slopes.

  • The house was an excellent find for our group (6 adventure racers participating in the Frigid Infliction). It was cozy, had a lot of beds, and was extremely conveniently located. Lars was an excellent host and responded very quickly to questions over email.

  • Great place in a fantastic location. The unit is cozy (love the fireplace!) and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The slopes are only a short walk away-literally across the street. And Lars was super responsive to questions. We'll be back!

  • This skihouse is perfect! Ideally situated just aside the ski slopes, no need to take the car, just to cross the street and ski!

The house is well equiped with the fire place and a lot of nice table games for the apres-ski. The house is also very clean and well maintain.

Lars is very helpful and easy to communicate with.

We warmly recommand this place and definitely thinking of coming back next winter!

  • Lars is amazingly accommodating. The space is beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and convenient. We loved cooking in the kitchen, and our two boys (5 & 2) had great space to play when we were stick inside with -15degree weather. A great space to be stuck inside. Curling up with a book and the fire going was bliss. We will come back whenever we come back. Thank you!!! We are so grateful!

  • We had a great time in Paul's mountain house! It was cosy and had everything we needed! Nice location to!

    October 2013
  • What a great place to stay and relax. It felt like being at home and was quite cozy. We couldn't do much of the outdoor things that were close by, because of the weather. Would be a good place to stay with a group of people. There are some great recommendations in the welcome binder. I would stay again.

I'm easy to get along with and love to travel and fly places. The usual challenges of life don't bother me much and if anything keeps it interesting. A 10 hour airport delay or a sudden rainstorm - both fine with me. I really enjoy snow and mountains, Vermont IPA's, and relaxing by the fireplace and that pretty much explains why I ended up in amazing and beautiful Bolton Valley, Vermont. We call it the Snowglobe :) and yes it really does snow a ton up here!
