Hi - we had a great time in NYC.
Great central location and a lot of space for NYC but the apartment and its equipment were a bit old vs what you could expect on pictures.
We had problem with 1 of the 2 washer choked / electricity and elevator but the manager was very responsive and willing to help to fix problem.
Awesome place, awesome location, close to everything, recommended for those who wants to be in hearth of Manhattan,
Communication was great before arrival, but I was never given an exact address. I texted the number provided while leaving the airport and the person responded asking ME what address. The person at the other end was Nenny, or something like that. She was nice when we met, but she had to call someone, again not Alona, after we arrived to know for sure which apartment was ours since "they" have two apartments in the same building. I wonder if Alona is even a real person. This is not a place where anyone lives on a regular basis.
The furniture and walls were in pretty rough shape; but the floors, bathrooms, and beds were clean. We were two couples, so we took the rooms at opposite ends of the apartment. The couch was cozy and we felt super comfortable throughout our 3-night stay. The apartment felt roomy, though the walls are thin.
The neighborhood is really fantastic. We went out for after-midnight pizza every night and coffee every morning. We had a great time with the bartender at a quiet Irish pub the afternoon we arrived.
