About this listing
Ideally located in the city center, our nice studio is on the third floor, with lift, of nice building built in the beginning of 20th century in one of the city's most popular and liveliest neighborhoods.
PARKING: There is no parking for this apartment.
You can find a place around the building.
Or go to the website "Parkego" about 15 euros per day. Thank you to say that you have an apartment to Salvatore.
Our nice studio is the ideal accommodation for a pleasant stay. Its high ceilings and its large volumes make it both bright and cozy. It can receive 2 people, has a living-room/kitchen, a bathroom and a loft with bed. It is also very well fitted: security door, double glazed window, well-equipped kitchen (plates, fridge, microwave), washing machine, Lcd Tv, Wi-Fi, etc.
Forget about your car! The apartment is located few steps away from the main avenue (1 min), shopping (1 min), the basilica Notre Dame (3 min), the pedestrian zone (13 minutes), the old town (14 min), the famous Promenade des Anglais (16 min), the beach (16 min) and so many other pretty places. Whether you are looking for traditional or modern restaurants, shopping, nightlife, beach, walk on the beach or cultural tours, everything is within walking distance! (see photos and (website hidden) map)
You’ll find close by many renting car agencies along with several public stations of the city hall for renting bikes and cars (the so-called “vélos et autos bleus”). In addition, because the main avenue is well served, visiting all our magnificent Nice and its beautiful surroundings (the extravagant Monaco, the luxurious Cannes, the authentic Antibes, the charming Grasse, the Italian border etc. ..) by train, car, tram or bus, is nice and easy!

Me and my wife both liked this listing, specifically the proximity to the action, so to speak. The main pedestrian street is a block away. The pickup of keys was a bit frustrating, but once we got to the office, our minds were set at ease. They provide a lot of information, and recommendations of things to do and see. Salvatore's cousin received us in a very warm fashion, and gave us plenty of contact information if we were to have any trouble. My only concern I had was the smell outside our balcony. I know that Salvatore probably cannot do much about this (the smell seemed to come from other peoples property; I'm not sure what kind of recourse Salvatore would have) but this is a concern. The apartment does not have air conditioning (as described), so during hot days, you must have the balcony doors open, but with that follows a smell of cat excriment and rotting trash. We were only at the apartment for 2 nights, so trying to remedy this seemed futile. All this aside, the place was very clean with fresh sheets and towels. We felt quite safe staying in this location, with the amount of locks one must pass to get inside. I do recommend (maybe during cooler months).
It was the best apartment! Good location, comfortable and very cosy! Thanks for all! I hope to come back:)
We enjoyed our stay at Salvatore's apartment. Apartment was clean and location was good. All the main sites (train station, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the beach) were within walking distance. We also loved the terrace/balcony.
Even though the office was far away from the apartment it wasn’t a big discomfort because with public transport it was easy to get from airport to Salvatore’s office and from there to apartment. We also liked the booklet which was prepared and which gave good overview of the main things to do in the City.
Only discomfort was that it didn’t have air conditioning. But this was known to use before we booked this place.
Don't be fooled by the photos. This is equivalent to a hostel but slightly more inconvenient. You have to go to the office which is a 30 min walk from the apartment to get the keys, make your own bed, take out your own trash, clean your dishes, pay a cleanup fee of 45 Euros, and if you're really lucky, the whole apartment smells like a wet dog.
Negatives aside, the place is kind of fun given the size and location. But what we have come to enjoy about AirBnB and staying in fun places and meeting interesting owners, is lost here. The place is operated like a hostel and feels like it.
As you note i have severals apartments and i need to organize me to manage all.
Its not an hotel because you rent an apartment and of course you need to clean it and put your own trash out and wash the dishes like at home :-)
Maybe you have a home cleaner at home and i can understand.
For the smeel of dog i cant understand, im really surpirse but i risolve it now.
And if you want next time to pass more time with you need just to ask me
This very small apartment is in pretty good location if you want to have a good access to the train station. But having to pick up the keys in a completely different part of the city (which the AirBnB description conveniently omits) doesn't fit my definition of a good host.
The apartment, the towels, and the bed sheets were fresh and clean. Although, you'll have to make your bed yourself. No kettle in the kitchen. Our tv remote didn't work, also no response to our message reporting this.
Very unpleasant element of our stay, though of course unrelated to the host or the apartment itself, was the persistent stench of cat feces by the opened window.
