Winter has arrived in Paris the city of lights. The weather is cool and mild with bright sunlight, perfect for strolling the banks of the Seine. Decorations adorn the streets and the sale season has fill the boutiques with Paris fashion and treasure deals. The air carries a mixture of bright colors, of comforting odors from fresh baked croissants and breads to warm the senses while the smell of chimney smoke presses you onwards toward home where the retreat of a cozy apartment can be a welcome comfort for memories to last a life time.

You'll be received in a manner to make you feel as if you are a part of the city. This two room apartment measures 520 sq. feet, or 48 sq. meters. The AirBnB listing doesn't give ample space to describe the two sleeping area's. One Queen size bed in the bedroom and one twin Empire Sleigh be in the living room. Although listed as a two bedroom, there are two rooms in addition to the kitchen, entry and bathroom.

Travel deals should be abundant throughout the year, and likely late into 2013. A competitive travel market is a boon for travelers, so take advantage of the weaker Euro while you can! As Paris is the most visited city in the world the 2% downturn in travel might just make your visit a little less crowded and a little more personal.
With 13 years experience in accommodating travelers to the best vacations of their lives, I look forward to making your upcoming trip comfortable and memorable.
Kind regards, Robert
There is an interphone/camera at the front door of the townhouse. When you arrive, ring the buzzer and I will come down to greet you and bring your luggage upstairs.
I live on-site and am able to assist you with your day-to-day activities or provide suggestions for any wishes you may have in visiting Paris.
Directly downstairs in the building is an organic grocer where you can find everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, milk and eggs, bread and scones to a large selection of teas, juices, elixirs and home remedies.
Across the street is a Mediterranean restaurant (see my online guestbook) called Le Risale. With home made soups and salads, fresh pasta or vegetarian dishes to full hardy meals. Diagonally across the street is a late night grocer for that sweet tooth snack after midnight. Our block is lined with a wholesome baker, homeopath pharmacy, French Deli and Italian Deli. Walk a block further and you will find a fish market on Tues. & Fri, butcher, cheese store, wine store and chocolate shop. Not to mention the variety of French specialty shops with the old fashioned painted glass storefronts that have become historic treasures to be preserved.
One block away in front of the Luxembourg station is the Hotel Luco which serves a full breakfast as well as Sunday brunch and meals all day long.
Conveniently located just one and one half blocks from the Luxembourg RER B Metro station, which serves as a direct link to/from both Charles de Gaulle and Orly Sud airports as well as Gare du Nord train station where the EuroStar arrives from London.
We had a brilliant time in Paris - the apartment was very nice with everything needed for the weekend. Well placed for the city centre with bars and restaurants neraby. Peter and Robert were very friendly and helpful.
We had a great time in Paris! It was like "How to live like a Parisian" because you live in a parisian style flat, in non-tourist environment and it's amazing.
The apartment is really full-equipped and its location is convenient. It is a little small, but it's Paris, guys!
Especially thanks to friendly and helpful host Robert and Peter who met us. They made us feel comfortable in unfamiliar city and became closer to French culture!
I am very glad that benefited airbnb. It was a wonderful journey . Robert is very hospitable and welcoming host . Special thanks to Peter ! I think for those who have language difficulties - no problems. Because he speaks six languages . Peter responded to every request and helped in every way . For me it is much easier staying in this apartment. The apartment is in a very good location . Fully corresponds to the description . Very comfortable large beds , both for one and for two people. Thank you, Robert and Peter . I will recommend your apartment to friends .
Lovely, romantic shabby-chic apartment, filled with antiques and with possibly the best shower in Paris. Robert was away, but his very kind and charming friend Dean was there to help us. Thank you, Dean, for making us feel so welcome. Very much looking forward to staying again. The phamarcie and organic shop next door are wonderful, by the way ~ I had a bad cold when we arrived, and they fixed me up with lots of remedies. I recommend the Thyme infusion and their honey.
We loved our stay in Robert's beautiful apartment. The apartment was just as described and portrayed in the pictures. It was in an extremely convenient location, close to various metro lines. There were several convenient stores nearby, making it easy to buy food and water. Robert had even set out champagne and flowers for us since he knew were were celebrating our honeymoon. He had also provided amazing tips for restaurants. To top things off, Robert provides free phone calls from the landline in the apartment to all US landlines and cell phones! Amazing! Thank you, Robert!
We had a great time in paris, loved the apartment and our every need was catered to by Robert and Peter, lovely guys. They supplied everything we needed and more. The apartment was great, just as we expected, a little small, we would consider a two bed next time. Thanks again to Robert and Peter, great hosts
Прекрасен апартамент,чудесна локация и приятни хазяи,чуден Париж.
Exellend apqrtment, great location and friendly owner...wonderfull
I stayed at the Sorbonne Suite for three nights. The location is very convenient, and, simply put, amazing. The flat was very comfortable, very clean and it has a charming character. Robert is an amazing host, very friendly and helpful. I've stayed in Paris before and this is, by far the best spot. Incredibly, it is also good value for money. In short, I would highly recommend it.
The flat was absolutely lovely. I stayed with my parents, who met me in Paris from America, and the flat truly completed our Parisian experience! Very convenient location while still being on a quiet street. The apartment had so much character. Both beds were very comfortable-- I slept on the day bed, and it was very comfy. The kitchen was perfect for the occasional meal in the flat, and the ensuite shower room was state of the art. Amazing deal for the money, truly unbelievable. Robert was on holiday while we were there, but his charming Aunt Carol was available to help with every possible need! (She even mailed me back some plug converters I forgot in the flat.) If you're looking for a secret holiday deal in Paris, you have found it!
Great location, apartment had everything we needed, Robert and his Aunt Carol's communication and attention detail were excellent.
