We enjoyed our time here and would stay again. The flat is located in a quiet residential neighborhood away from the commotion of the touristy areas. We always stay in this neighborhood, and would recommend it over anywhere else. The flat was exactly as described, and I have no …

The apt was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the coffee, tea and water left for us in the fridge. It was a nice touch. The apt has everything you need to make yourself at home. It is a short walk away from most things and was very close to water taxi stop. It can be a bit diff…

Italo's home is in a good location and they make check in very easy. You can walk anywhere. The home is spacious and setup with everything you need. The only thing to keep in mind is there is not AC, and Venice is humid. We are from Florida (USA) and the humidity and heat are…

Apartment is very close to the public boat bus system and many great restaurants. It is in a quieter part of Venice, which was nice for sleeping with the windows open. It is very spacious and comfortable for me and my family of 5.

Response from Italo:
Hello Anna, thank for your review, Im happy to hear you did find the apartment spacious and did appreciate the possibility to heat it. I'm surprised you mention the tourist tax and identification. As we did explain you upon your arrival, both things are mandatory in Venice in hotels and apartments since years and of course it's clearly written on our B&B description. Just for your info, Tourist tax was introduced about 5 years ago in Venice and the amount vary accordingly to the price of the accommodation - 5E per person in 5 star hotel, down to 1,5E per person in an apartment. Identification of people is mandatory for anti-terrorism and it's the normal procedure all around Italy and if you were not asked the documents upon your arrival I dare to say that the place wasn't run in a legal manner, or at least the owner did try to avoid to pay taxes on your booking. The details about people staying in the hotel have to be forwarded to the police within 24 hours. There are no official forms, the owner has to fill the form online with the information. Of course, instead of emailing the photos you could comfortably come the next day to the office to show your documents personally in a completely secure manner, but we think that sending them by email did save your time. Regards Italo
