About this listing
Private Basement Suite with its own entrance, fantastic views and complimentary breakfast. Extremely Clean and Comfortable :)
**Private Basement Suite with its own entrance, fantastic views and complimentary breakfast. Spotlessly Clean**
For those preferring more privacy, and a little bit of luxury, or for more than two guests, we have the basement. It has a bedroom (Queen size bed, super comfy mattress/sheets, fantastic views), full bath (equipped with towel warmer and under-tile warming), a wet bar (with fridge and lots of goodies inside, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle etc), and its own separate entrance. Everything is the same as described in Charlottesville at Bargain Price (internet, continental breakfast, parking etc) except that you have the entire place to yourself. The basement is recently renovated, is a lot more spacious and can accommodate up to four people (2 in the bedroom and 2 on a pull-out sofa bed in the living room). Everything in the basement is spotlessly clean and prepared to the highest standards...a perfect place to relax, refresh and enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
** Please consult our calendar to confirm availability
**Prices based on two people sharing a bed. If you require separate beds, that would count as an extra person
Please keep everything neat and tidy. No smoking / pets. No cooking. You are welcome to use everything in the kitchenette area (including the fridge and all its contents) except the microwave. There is of course the electric kettle / coffee maker so you can always make tea/coffee, and if you need to warm food we'll be happy to do it for you upstairs. We also respectfully ask guests not to take food/drinks in the room, but use the dinning area instead.
*Please Note: Footpath to the left is a bit steep and can be slippery when wet. Please exercise caution. Please use footpath to the right if grass is wet. Thank you :)
Using the home for the second year in a row on a business trip to CHO. Issa and Maryam made me feel like coming home again!
All very well organized, and the hosts are very helpful, like last time. I'll continue using the home for my trips to CHO
The suite was clean and spacious, with plenty of privacy and a separate entrance. Maryam and Issa were gracious and friendly hosts, and we enjoyed the opportunity to visit with them. We also appreciated the variety of breakfast foods that were available.
We had never tried airbnb and we weren't sure what to expect, but it was a wonderful experience. Maryam and Issa even volunteered to ship us a dress that we left in the closet by mistake!
Maryam and Issa were very welcoming. They had fresh fruit, granola bars and cold breakfast in our fridge. Although this is listed as entire home, you are actually in a self contained basement which opens to the outside. This was not an issue for us as it was very comfortable. It was also extremely clean and private.
We had a very nice stay at Maryam and Issa's. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. A lot better than staying in any hotel! It was quite private as well with its separate entrance.
Maryam and Issa were very helpful and friendly hosts. We loved talking to them!
Maryam and Issa's place was a beautiful, updated, and homey place to spend our 2nd anniversary weekend. Thanks to the private entrance, it was like our own little aparment! The bathroom was very luxurious and included a nifty towel warmer. The bed was comfortable and directly underneath a remote-operated ceiling fan with light. Thanks for having us Maryam and Issa; you were excellent hosts and very kind people.
Maryam and Issa were delightful hosts. Their home is immaculate and charming. They were very quiet, I hardly knew when they were home! The basement space was clean, comfortable and charming. The bed was especially comfortable. We had a lovely stay while attending a wedding in the area. Thank you again!

About the Host, Maryam/Issa
We're an easy going couple with a passion for travel. We first came to Charlottesville in 2008 for a brief visit, and loved the place so much that decided to move here permanently from England!
We love the opportunity to meet new people and share with them the beauties of this wonderful city.
