I have tried to edit my summary but no luck. I was going to correct it to say that I now have a Queen sized bed for the front upstairs bedroom. Hooray!! No more antique double bed. Enjoy!
Charming upstairs bedroom with bath and private deck in the quietest neighborhood in San Luis Obispo, seven blocks from downtown. The room has a very comfortable antique double bed. There is another bedroom with bath if needed. The price is the same as first room but negotiable. The second room has a beautiful antique four-poster bed from the 19th century. The house is three blocks from the Splash Café and many other restaurants are in walking distance. I am very close to Cal Poly State University.

What a lovely home and Anne was absolutely charming and understanding with late arrival. We had just a quick overnight stay and will definitely return to spend more time.
A great hostess and a great place in a lovely neighborhood. A clean, quiet house with great art. I slept like a baby--a very unusual baby that sleeps. Anne made me feel welcome. She's an interesting person with a great sense of humor. I'll definitely consider this my SLO home away from home.
Having stayed with Anne before I knew what to expect and wasn't disappointed. Just love staying in this wonderful house and the lovely location. Anne, as always, made us feel very welcome, a very exceptional host. Of course, hearing the wild turkeys in the morning just added to the whole experience.
As always, Anne is a wonderful host and is most welcoming. Her home is charming and I will continue to book with her on my visits to San Luis Obispo!
Anne's place was located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood and convenient by car to downtown SLO and surrounding sights and activities. Anne was wonderfully welcoming; her house is very interestingly decorated with art, furnishings and books that seem as though they could be found in museums; the room we had was very comfortable, clean and totally adequate for the two of us. We enjoyed our stay with Anne and miss her as much as we do Southern CA, which is a lot. If we return to SLO, we will definitely stay with Anne again. We highly recommend her place as a great place to stay.
It's always a pleasure to stay with Anne. The home is beautiful and she's a wonderful host.
I have lived in San Luis Obispo since 1974. Before that I lived in New Mexico. I am interested in the arts, books, good food and what is going on around town. I have a cat and nice neighbors.
