This is a fantastic very conveniently located apartment! A perfect introduction to Paris. While located close to the metro, the apartment is remarkably quite. The kitchen is brand new, very well equipped and the apartment is well appointed. There is plenty of hot water for long showers. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom and toilets are separate. The beds are super comfortable. There are separate dinning and living room areas.
The host is very friendly and super helpful. Suggestions about places to go and things to do, come with pictures and detailed instructions. The neighborhood is wonderful. You will find everything you need there and the apartment is easy to get to with metro (the way to get around Paris IMO, unless you take one of the public bikes). You can not go wrong with this place. I really do not understand how hotels do any business with this kind of competition. We had a fantastic time and will be back! Thank you for sharing your space with us! See you again soon. Voila!
The lodging is well located, close to a metro station and nevertheless very quiet.
Unfortunately the rooms are very dark; the pictures being taken with lots of artificial light gave us a wrong impression upon booking. We experienced the place to be in need of refurbishment.
With hindsight we feel the rental to be way overpriced and therefore disappointed.
Members of our extended family (6 persons) and I traveled to Paris during the first week of July 2013. Antoinette is a very good hostess. This property is a unique, even quirky 4-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom townhouse. Including the sunken TV room, the unit is split on five distinct levels: the TV room (a nice, comfortable area); the main living floor, with laundry facilities and half bathroom; a computer area in a mezzanine; the main bedroom area with two bathrooms; and the 4th bedroom in the attic. The unit is best suited for a large family or two families with children who are old enough to be self-sufficient. It was less well-suited to our group, which was built around three distinct couples. The living space was very spacious and suited our needs well. The kitchen is small and curiously located immediately inside the front door, but it was sufficient to our needs. The laundry facilities were helpful, particularly when the airline lost our luggage for the duration of our three day stay. The beds are all comfortable, but they are laid out in an unusual fashion. One bedroom has a full-sized bed for a couple. The second bedroom has bunked beds with a separate twin-sized bed, best suited for three individuals. Another bedroom has a full-sized bed, a twin-sized bed on the same level, and then another twin-sized bed accessible via a built-in ladder. This room would be best for a family of four. Finally, the 4th bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase to a solitary twin-sized bed in the attic. Just using proper beds, the home can comfortably sleep ten people. With Antoinette's concurrence, I believe the ample couches could accommodate four more in reasonable comfort. The home is decorated with many interesting artworks and architectural features. While attractive, the spiral staircases to the bedrooms are difficult to negotiate large suitcases up and down. The unit is not located near major attractions, but its location is nonetheless practical. It is literally only 300 meters from the front door to the La Fourche Metro stop. We could walk past Moulin Rouge in about 10 minutes; to Sacre Couer in about 20. Using the Metro, you can get in the vicinity of major sites (Champs Elysee, Invalides) in ~15-20 minutes, door-to-door. Using a transfer to another Metro line, you can reach just about anywhere that a tourist might want in less than 30 minutes. Although the unit is relatively pricey, it can provide good value for a large group. Be wary of the cleaning fee. A flat rate of 150 Euros, this is a substantial amount if only staying for the minimum three-day stay. Although the unit is far from new, it was very clean and reasonably well maintained. During our stay, the alley in front of the home was experiencing construction. While unsightly and a bit noisy, Antoinette was very up-front with her communications. We were not surprised. Although obscure, I think the alley could have been charming in other...
The place is AMAZING! We just wanted to spend the whole day around the house! Antoinette is the best host you can wish for: she will explain and answer any questions you may have, prepares everything down to the last detail and is just a super nice and interesting person. If you are a large group looking to spend a good time together in Paris, this place is a must!
Ten of us plus a baby stayed here. The apartment held everyone, was on a quiet alley and was comfortable. The neighborhood did not feel touristy and was convenient. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
We had an eccentric start for a mistake in the chek-in, but after we felt very well in Antoniette's house. The house is clean and very light. She has been very available host and sanday she made us a pleasant surprise for breakfast.
All endned well and we have enjoyed our time in Paris!

Antoinette is a wonderful and professional host and provided all the information we needed and more for our stay. The living and dining area is beautiful and nice shared as a group. There is an interesting layout upstairs leading into the bedrooms, even if it does feel somewhat dated.
What a great stay ! Def worth getting this spot in Paris, I had a amazing time and the place is beautiful. It was great to be in a real neighborhood but still near by metro, food, and Place de Clichy. The house is so warm and full of beautiful art and decor. Make sure to check this home out!!
