Located in the heart of Manhattan and most populated Area. There are many restaurants, bars, shops. You name it! If you walk out of apt there is restaurant row out there. Restaurant Row is the popular nickname for a section of 46th Street in New York City, New York. Located in Midtown Manhattan between Eighth and Ninth Avenues, the name is derived from the numerous small restaurants that line the street. The street itself has a small neighborhood feel despite its proximity to Times Square and the Broadway theaters. Transportation: 42nd Street Times Square (almost all trains) or 50st station.

  • The apartment is surprising large, especially by NYC standards, and in a convenient location. However it is almost completely unmaintained. There are large, unpleasant water damage stains in the dining room and bathroom, and holes in the drywall where fixtures were sloppily linstalled or removed. The pictures on the site are all cropped to avoid the areas of neglect. The front door knob feel off twice and forced us to leave the apartment through the fire escape to retrieve the knob outside the door. There is a patio, but like the front entry hallway it is filled with refuse and old leftover building supplies. The front portion of the apartment was created by using a portion of a large preexisting door as a wall, which the bathroom was built behind. All of the work on this apartment seems like it was done as cheaply as possible with the goal being to get a deceivingly nice picture for the airbnb website. Additionally, the Wi-Fi did not work at anytime during our stay, and we were unable to get a new code from the owner.

  • Overall good apartment at a great location, but hard to get in touch with the host.

He dident answer text, mail or phone calls during the stay so we were unable to tell him that the front door could not be locked or tell us the wifi-password.

  • Apartment was great, and accommodated 5 no problem. And you can't beat the location. Just be prepared to walk up stairs. Its a common thing in NY apartments .

  • We stayed here as a family of 5 during Christmas week and really enjoyed the central location of the apartment and the expansive views (including One World Trade Center in the distance) from the numerous windows. The building is a few short blocks from Times Square and from the Rockefeller Center. There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. It's really a great place for exploring the city.

  • The owner of this unit does own several units in the building. They are not all identical in furnishings. We have actually stayed in two of the units, dating back (pre-airbnb) to 2007. We were thrilled when we found this unit on Air-bnb! If you are looking for luxurious decor, this unit is not for you. But if you are looking for something comfortable and in one of the BEST locations possible, look no further. The building is located right on restaurant row- a literal plethora of excellent dining choices!-, it is a five minute walk to Times Square/ Broadway, the subway is 2 1/2 blocks, the grocery and the pharmacy about 3. We stayed in unit 3F- there was some evidence of an upper floor leak, but we had absolutely no problems with plumbing or the bathroom. The host may not be "chatty" via email, but you WILL get the information that you need in a timely manner. They have the ability to check you in over the phone, so you never have to worry about checking in or checking out at late hours. As Floridians coming up in November to New York, we were concerned about freezing to death. We expressed this to Eran and he made sure that there were three space heaters in the unit. The unit was more than toasty warm (we had to turn the heat down after the first day as it actually got a little hot). We are very grateful to Eran for helping to make our stay incredibly pleasant. We have been telling friends about "our" perfect New York apartment for years, and I am more than glad to be able to tell the Air-bnb community that we LOVE this apartment and will continue to stay there in the future.

  • Although similar, not exactly the apartment you see in the pictures. The bathroom is pretty run down. The building is old. There was water dripping onto the bed from the ceiling, though it was fixed the next day after contacting the host. The check out time on the reservation says flexible but we were forced to leave at 11 am. In summary, you can find a nicer place in the same price range
