  • Aminta was a wonderful host, and the mini-studio was perfect for my needs! The next time I need a place to stay near the Presidio, I will certainly be coming back here. Thank you so much!

  • Aminta is a very warm and accommodating host. She made me feel at home right away. The place is extremely clean and well kept, and you will enjoy her beautiful house. The location is extremely convenient (buses, beach, grocery store, gym, coastal trail...) and you will want to stay longer.

  • A really nice place to stay in SF, near Presidio and Golden Gate Parks. An interesting, quiet and safe neighborhood, many restaurants within walking distance. Plenty of Muni stops and easy to get downtown. Aminta was a great host and always asking/trying to make things a bit more comfortable. Friendly fellow guests. I hope its available the next time I'm in town!

  • This is a wonderful place to stay and Aminta is a perfect host. We stayed for 3 months and had a lovely time. The cactus garden is a great place to sit and enjoy the sunshine while read a book. The neighborhood is friendly with quick and easy access to a variety of grocery stores, book stores and coffee shops. The golden gate bridge is close by (walking distance if you like to walk) and Presidio Park is beautiful with a free bus to help you get around. Bakers beach and China beach are both lovely and only a short walk. I would also recommend checking out Lands End for an afternoon walk or to watch the sunset over the ocean. The number 1 bus will take you downtown, it's one block away and takes about 45 minutes.
The apartment itself is small but very cozy and utilizes the space well. The only complaint I have is that the internet wasn't the best. Outside it worked great but inside the suite it tends to cut out and only likes to work in a few certain spots. Other than that everything was great. Be warned that you will fall in love with Aminta and might not want to leave!

  • Fantastic hosts! Warm, friendly and attentive. They even took care of me when I came down with a horrible cold the first week I was there! Nicer, residential part of town near the Presidio. Recommended.

  • I probably would have moved in permanantly. I felt like I was staying with family. Very very nice people, beautiful house and a great neighborhood. It couldnt have been a better situation. Aminta and her sons are some of the nicest people Ive met. I feel fortunate to have been so lucky. Thank you guys.

  • I had a wonderful experience at the Mosses. Aminta and Sandor were such great hosts. I never did meet Dave. The house is gorgeous and I was extremely comfortable. The other guests were great, also. The neighborhood is very nice and safe and very close to public transportation. My stay couldn't have been better!

I was born in Corinto, Nicaragua. I made SF my home in 1959. My neighborhood is a true blessing in disguise; Within a 10 minute walk, I can be at the beach (ie; Baker's Beach, China Beach and Ocean Beach; world class surfing), at the movies, amazing entertainment and nightlife, in a National Park, with historic landmarks , in a quality yoga studio, shopping (international cuisine) , in a library, or in a museum ( I was on Board of Directors with The Mexican Museum), and only a 5 minute walk to excellent transportation. 5 things I cannot live without; yoga, swimming, scuba diving, hiking(Marin Headlands), and gardening. All major universities are within 10-15 minutes by public transportation. Super safe morning to midnight. My favorite travel getaway is Scandinavia! I love reading books on meditation and have volunteered at The De Young and Legion of Honor Museums for the past 27 years. My house is yoga, surfer and dog/cat and techie friendly and is conveniently located as a ''(website hidden) Hotspot''. It is an original 1912 Eduardian home with an amazing backyard that faces south! Plenty of street parking and parking permits are available upon request. We always have a great mix of international guests, doctors, techies, yoga instructors and surfers . We offer on site laundry possibilities, free WiFi, free cable and flat screen TV's in every room, central heating, newly remodeled AEK, wood floors, and a very cozy environment for a very unique stay. Everything is in walking distance. My life's motto; treat one as you would like to be treated.
