The apartment is in an historic building in the most exclusive area of Rome, It's just on Via del Babuino the elegant and popular street that takes you from Spanish Steps to Piazza del Popolo. Perfect for single, one couple or couple with children.

The Space

The apartment is in the most exclusive area of the centre of Rome, It's just on Via del Babuino the elegant and popular street that takes you from the Spanish Steps to Piazza del Popolo; there are a lot of wondeful shops on this street, starting from Tiffany to Chanel, Jo Malone, Miu miu, Armani and many others and it's just one block from the fancy art shops of via Margutta.

The one bedroom apartment is at the first floor of an historical beautiful and newly renovated building and from your window you will see the street and on your left piazza del popolo obelisco.

Even though you are in the centre of Rome and by 15 minute walk you will reach the crowded and lively areas of piazza navona and campo dei fiori, here at Via del Babuino you will enjoy a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. You are just in front of De Russie Hotel one of the best and most expensive hotel in the city.

The apartment is all newly and well furnished and has one nice and charming double bedroom with a little window on the backyard.
The spaciuos and bright living room has two big windows on the stree and a plenty of beautiful paintings, in this living there is a brand new double sofa bed that
you can easily use.

There is a fully equipped open kitchen with everything you need and a big glass table for six (oven, big fridge, freezer, coffee maker).
The bathroom has a large shower and the the towel warmer.

There is wi fi and air con with hot and cold air .

I'm sure you will enjoy your staying and I'm here to give you every advices you need to appreciate my city at the best

  • We’ve visited Rome in July 2014 and this was very pleasant experience to use Livia’s flat and support.
We’ve didn’t met Livia personally, but she was always available through the mails and responded fast.
We’ve been met by Livia’s mother (best regards to her!!!) who gave us all the instructions and advices. Despite this there are also many printed on paper instructions for this or another items usage.
Wifi there and working and the flat in general equipped with all the necessary tools and things.
Tips for restaurants helped as well!
The flat itself situated exactly in the middle of everything – shopping area, historical city part, and all the sightseeing places are easily reachable by foot.
Thanks a lot to Livia for our great vacations in Rome!

  • Our first port on our 17 day trip to Italy , June July 2014. So it was important that we started on a good note. We were graciously welcomed by livia's mom who made every attempt, in her broken English , to make us feel comfortable. we settled in quite quickly. the apartment was bang in the center of the city, with Spanish steps and piazza del popolo in eyeing distance . all amenities and eating joints at stone throw, carrefour expresses 2 blocks away. the apartment had all amenities for a 4 day stay , enough towels , good air conditioning. checkout was smooth, the host even organized a taxi for drop off....

  • We stayed at Livia's apartment for two nights and wish we could have stayed longer! It was an easy walk from the Spagma subway stop. Livia's mom gave us a warm welcome. We loved the apartment's brightness: natural light from two living room windows plus plenty of overhead lights and lamps. Bed and sofabed were very comfortable and we really appreciated that the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses, utensils, etc. We also liked the colorful decor contrasted with the white walls.

The apartment is located on the "first floor" which is one level up from the ground level. This afforded a nice view of the street without having to walk up several flights. The apartment's location is ideal for walking to the best shops as well as Roma's infamous ruins.

  • We had a fantastic experience with Alicia's apartment in Rome. This was our first experience with an apartment through airbnb and it proved to be a wonderful experience. Livia answered all our queries promptly and efficiently, arranged transport from airport to apartment and her mother was waiting for us to welcome us and show us everything at the apartment. The apartment is superbly located, minutes to Spanish steps and Piazza del Popolo, handy for both bus and subway, restaurants, shops etc. the apartment had everything we needed, including wifi and amenities, was clean, attractive and welcoming, and Livia was helpful throughout our stay and arranged transport again when we left. We recommend this apartment without any reservations whatsoever. Thank you Livia!

  • This apartment was great! Our train was delayed and we arrived late, and Livia was very understanding. Her father met us and let us in and explained everything to us, and he was so great and nice! The apartment is so cute, and it's in a great location between two metro stops - very easy to get around and nice during the day but quiet at night. We only stayed for two days and it was so easy to get to the Colosseum and to the Vatican via Metro, plus we walked everywhere else in between, and there's lots of restaurants on two streets nearby. It was really nice that there were some toiletries in the bathroom, a hairdryer, etc. The WiFi worked great, and the kitchen was lovely. I wish that we could have stayed longer! Livia also had an English-Italian dictionary/phrasebook, and that was great! Plus maps and recommendations.

  • This is a lovely apartment, that is well located for seeing the sights of Rome. It's is a little further away from the Colosseum district however is still within a 20min walk. Just down the street is the Spanish steps and it is right in the middle of the shopping district with plenty of restaurants and gelato shops nearby. It is also close to Spagna metro station. We were met by Livia's mum who was very welcoming and thorough in her introduction to the apartment and the area. We would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Perfect location - nice neighbourhood, great restaurants nearby and quick walking distance to Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, etc. We could even walk to the Pantheon / Coliseum area as well.

The flat was very clean, modern, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The photos are very accurate.

Livia's father met us and they were very understanding when our flight was delayed and we had a late arrival. Livia was also always accessible via email and text.

Would love to come back to Rome and stay here again!

  • Livia's apt. lived up to all expectations. It was excellent in terms of location, cleanliness, functionality, and comfort. Outstanding noise reducing windows made the apt. extremely quiet even on a busy street. Air conditioning, bed, and sheets were superb. The wifi worked great. Livia's mom was helpful in getting us situated and the apt. was as advertised. It was fun looking out the first floor (not ground level) windows at all the people on the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend.
