This would be ideal for two people possibly three since there is the extra couch that is perfect for the third person. I have used it with several guest and no complaints so far!! =)
This is a particular spot since there are not too many like this in the city feels like its own little secluded place with a nice front porch and patio that is hidden from the street.

My first Airbnb experience and I would definitely do it again. Brian was excellent to communicate with throughout the experience and the house was exactly what we were looking for. Great location too... half a block from the bar, the el stop and Starbucks. Everything else is close by as well.
Lovely little place very close to public transit. He answered questions and made suggestions during our stay there. Would stay here again!
As the name suggests Brian's home was cute and very comfortable with easy access to everything. I stayed there for 6 nights(26 Nov - 2 Dec 2013) with my wife and cousin and have enjoyed our stay there a lot. Brian was very quick in responding to our questions. He also suggested good restaurants within walking distance. His house is in perfect location right by Brown Line (Paulina 'L' station) and there was no problem finding parking spot in that quaint and calm street. Starbucks, wholefoods and loads of restaurants are right around the corner. The house is well equipped with proper heating and air conditioning, full kitchen and full bathroom. Wi-fi access is spot on, bed and couch were super comfy. Overall, loved our stay there and would definitely come back to Brian's place anytime.
I have used airbnb once before and it was a great experience, so I was thrilled to find this place in Chicago. I chose it based on the pictures, location and positive reviews. I don't know if Brian was having an off week, but the place was a big disappointment. The bathroom was dirty (hair everywhere, dried urine on the toilet seat), there were bugs running across the living room and the sheets didn't appear clean (hair between the sheets). I don't recommend staying here based on my experience.
Megan, Im very sad that you did not have a good experience. I have had several other guest that felt that the level of cleanliness was up to their and my standards. I believe that the reviews from previous guests speak for themselves. General consensus does not agree with your review and experience during your stay. I feel that you might have set your expectations a bit too high i apologize for that. I haven't seen any bugs since i've been here but i might have not the same issue with seeing one as I know it is a house and its something that is out of my control. I might have had an oversight on the bathroom and i again apologize for that but the sheets were brand new put specifically for your stay. I use a different set so i see it a bit strange that you found hairs between the sheets. If you would have communicated some of these issues i would have gladly returned your money so you could stay in a hotel that night. Airbnb is not for everyone but i hope that this experience doesn't deter you from future bookings as i believe its a great way to enjoy a city staying in an a real place where real people live.
Great location and nice sized space for two people visiting for the weekend and wanting to stay in a neighborhood outside downtown. Lots of amenities within walking distance.
Brian was a helpful host and his apartment was both accommodating and conveniently located.
Brian was very accommodating when we needed a last minute place to stay (because our own place was rented on Airbnb!). His place was convenient and clean. Would highly recommend it!
Staying at Brian's apartment was great. He was quick to respond and coordination to check-in/out was really easy. The apartment is great -- it's clean, quiet, spacious and in a really nice neighborhood steps away from the brown line. Definitely recommended!
The reservation was canceled 42 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
apartment was centrally located, right off the brown line, and we had a great time. it was a quiet neighborhood, with plenty of parking, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. whole foods was a couple blocks away and it was a great stay. didn't have a chance to meet brian, but were able to exchange info with no problems. apartment was clean and bright, bed was comfortable, and wi-fi super easy to access. would definitely stay there again to explore a new part of chicago.
