Clean, tidy cozy, 1 block from the Division St action. Larry was very hospitable and friendly as was his Labrador doggie who gave me a friendly nuzzle when I returned home. I especially liked the the cool crisp sheets and the DIY French Press coffee w/muffins for breakfast in the sitting room.

Great location right off of an avenue with shopping, restaurants, coffee, etc. Private bathroom in room a nice extra touch, as well. Would recommend!

Larry's place was great. It was in an amazing location, just steps away from Division with tons of great restaurants. There's also plenty of free street parking if you have a car, but there is also a bus stop right around the corner. The room was cozy, but very clean and it was nice to have our own private bathroom. The one downside was the lack of air conditioning. The room got pretty warm when the weather got into the 90s during the day, but Larry did provide a couple fans for us to use. It cools down nicely at night and we generally weren't in the room during the day when it was the hottest. Unfortunately because of the poor air quality due to the wildfires around Portland, we didn't want to keep the windows open. Would definitely recommend this place in the cooler months!

Larry's place is exactly as described. The house is in great shape having been recently renovated and it, and the room we stayed in were very clean. Larry was very responsive to our inquires and special requests. The location is great. Truly walking distance to some good restaurants. We would stay there again.

Larry is awesome. His house is in a great location and walkable to great bars and restaurants. He is friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable about the area. His dog Janna is also very sweet.

Larry User ProfileLarry is a superhost.

I was born and raised in Portland. I love to hunt for wild mushrooms and occasionally go fishing for steelhead in the local streams. In 1998 I started deconstructing the single story house my grandmother had owned, and then over the next five years, rebuilt it as a three-story. I am self-employed as a licensed general contractor/handyman. In my spare time I play classical guitar, and am learning how to tune pianos.
