We had a great time staying in Amelia's place! The apartment is full of photos, souvenirs, books and music, it gives a very cosy feel to the house. The apartment is accurately described by Amelia, there were no surprises. It's a small but cosy apartment and just the right size for 2 people. Amelia left an apartment manual that has all the needed info, and she was always accessible for any other needed info. Location of the apartment was really good for value. Brixton is lively and safe, and close to the city center. There are 2 tube stations near by, 13 minutes on foot. Also a bus station right outside the apartment which made life very easy! Several conveience stores are within minutes walk, Tesco is 15 mins walk away or less by bus. 'Halal' food options were really close to the apartment which was important for us. Kitchen is well equipped and we used it for proper cooking almost daily. Everything was available. All in all, Amelia's apartment is a great option. It's clean, great location and great cost for value.

Amelia's place is great! It was comfortable, clean and in a perfect size for 2 people. The neighborhood was also fine, with restaurants, markets and even a pub near. Our trip to London was amazing! :)

Amelia's flat is as it looks in the photographs. It is well situated with regards to public transport and it is very easy to travel to central London. there are lots of cafes, takeaways and small supermarkets very close by. Amelia was very pleasant and hospitable, she left coffee, tea and bread/biscuits etc., which was very kind. Her flat is small but cosy, well heated and the bed is very comfortable The downsides to staying for nine days, was that there is very little storage space in the flat, no wardrobe to hang your clothes and no clear surfaces to put your things. The shower and basin in the bathroom was very small. Also we were not informed before we arrived that the flat above was having a new floor installed so we had noise every morning at 8.00am, which was very annoying.

Response from Amelia:
Hi John Apologies for the builders, they were meant to have finished the work before your arrival. As for dust & cleaner carpets, I am surprised as I am such a clean freak and I had cleaned the space from top to bottom and after hoovering I mopped my way out of the flat before you arrived! It is an old building and I am sorry you weren't satisfied. I clear 2 drawers in the dresser & leave hangers on the rail of the bedroom door for storing clothes (as mentioned in the welcome note) apologies again if you found this provision inadequate. It was lovely to meet you both & I hope you had a safe trip home. All the best

Very clean! Convenient location, in 15 minutes you are at the center of London & there are plenty of super markets around to buy food etc. Amelia had left us breakfast and coffee when we arrived and a note with information about the house and what to see in London that was veeery helpful. She was away so we didn't manage to see her but we met her very good friend Sian who was really friendly and made us feel like home. I used the earplugs provided because the house is at a central road but my boyfriend was ok without them.

Amelia's flat is adorable and cozy with lots of character and charm. I was traveling alone, and there was more than enough space for me. Amelia took extra care to make me feel welcome by leaving me chocolate chip cookies, croissants, sliced bread, an assortment of jellies, and plenty of tea. Her flat is in a wonderful neighborhood (Brixton) that is convenient to two Tube lines (Victoria and Northern) as well as a ton of buses that will take you anywhere you'd like to go. There are wonderful cafes, pubs, and bars within an easy walking distance of the flat. Amelia was out of town during my stay, so she arranged for her niece to meet me at the flat. She was incredibly responsive throughout the booking process and in the days leading up to my stay, and her niece was also very easy to communicate with through (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). I can't recommend this flat enough if you're looking for a getaway in a safe and fun neighborhood. I just left London yesterday, but I'm already daydreaming of my next stay!

Amelias appartement is tiny but very cosy and we felt made welcome, having croissants, bread, jam, biscuits and milk waiting for us. The location close to a bus stop is perfect for venturing directly into the heart of city or, going south, to the lesser touristic parts of London. We liked the Crown&Anchor who do very good bar food and tried the indian restaurant Booma close by, also very recommendable! Amelia provides earplugs, as the appartement is on a busy road, and we were happy to have them. We'd stay here again.
