It's right on the beach. And there's a pool right near the beach. I definitely loved it. HOWEVER, the room smelled so bad. Especially the bathroom. At first I thought it was the AC. Cuz you know sometimes when you don't turn the AC on for a while, it smells when you just turn it on and it'll be fine after several minutes. But apparently, it still smelled a lot. PLUS, there was no comforter but thin blanket. I wouldn't recommend living here at this price.

You probably get what you pay for. This was a last-minute trip, and our stay was OK for the price. Photos make it seem more like an apartment; this feels a lot more like a lower-end hotel. PROS: The restaurant - great value, food is amazing, and service is fast (note: they didn’t take cards, so bring cash). The pool – it is nice, although it could have been a little warmer. Relaxed, quiet, diverse environment: couples, friends, families of all ages, and nationalities. The view – it is the Caribbean, and you get a nice view from the room and terrace, and the pool. CONS: WiFi - No wi-fi in the room. Had to go to common patio, and even there, it was not good – when I asked the staff for help, no one could really help me so I gave up and ended up using my limited data roaming). Shared terrace - no wall, half-wall or anything dividing our terrace from our neighbor’s. Room maintenance and amenities - decorative pillows had a moldy smell, kitchen utensils were rusted, didn't feel clean. There was no dish rack or soap for the dishes you are asked to wash. No coffee pot or filters for coffee maker, and no basic condiments (i.e. salt, pepper, sugar) in the kitchen. Table lamp had a false contact; other lamps had “cold” light bulbs, so not much “ambiance” at night. Location - this is at the far South of Hotel zone; not really walkable to anywhere, and taxi rides are expensive (uber could not reach us in the location) - but this is the case for many places in Can-cun. A note on the reception/check-in (big CON) - this is an interesting space: from what I gather, each unit is independently owned, but there is a central reception/management area (like a hotel). It seems to me, like you get "worst of both worlds" - you deal with the reception staff, but they have no accountability because each apartment is independent. So three issues: 1. They were not very friendly at all. 2. Even though the previous day reception had confirmed we could do a late check out, on our departure day, they called at 12:30 and asked us to leave the room, as there was another booking and we could not have a late check out. 3. Our "welcome letter" said the room would be cleaned daily, but it was not cleaned in the three nights we were there. When I asked reception they said it was "up to the owner".

Dont' be fooled by this listing. I left 12 hours after checking in, and am still fighting to get my money back. The beds are as hard as concrete and are 2 double beds inspite of them being advertised as 1 queen and 1 full. The safe is broken, the glass table was broken, the headboard was stained with god knows what, the fridge did not keep cold, the bathroom had water damage on the ceiling and MOLD. That is just the start, but won't bore you with overload details. I took photos to prove it all. The host at one point offered me a partial refund in exchange for a nice review. So please take every review with a grain of salt, because they may have been paid for. I wanted to take her up on her offer just to recoop some of my money, but decided I would take my chances with airbnb refunding me so no one else would be duped. Worst experience ever. The only thing this place has going for it is a view of the ocean. Spend a little more money and stay anywhere but here.

My girlfriend and i enjoyed staying here. This is a charming studio apartment right in front of the beach There is a bus every few minutes that runs downtown and to the main bar/nightlife area. I reccomend this place for someone who like us wants to be close to everything, but also likes a bit of privacy since the beaches are not as crowded here. Wifi is very unreliable, so make sure you purchase a data plan or print out documents you may need

I stayed here for 2 weeks. The location and proximity to the beautiful beach and ocean was the best. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked great. Salvadore was helpful if I made a request. He and Tamy were very welcoming. The open tile shower was great. The room cleaning was very good. The shared balcony was very nice for morning coffee and the nights were usually quiet. Bringing ear plugs helped for sleeping through occassional noisy neighbors. Buses run all the time. I don't think we ever waited even a minute for a bus, and we rode them everyday. The brick oven pizza in the condo restaurant was very good. The security at the condo was very good. The room safe helped alot. Rusty pans with half the teflon scrapped off were not welcoming. I had asked if there were pans before booking. Salvadore got me 2 good pans the second week. The refrigerator had so much ice that water leaked from it. I defrosted it twice. There is mold inside the nightstand light shade. The head boards are not attached to the very hard beds, so when we would lean back, they would hit loudly on the wall. We fixed that with a pillow behind each of them. I would stay here again if the beds weren't so hard, or I was only staying a few nights.

We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay and that's exactly what we found! The apartment was very nice, just the way it looks on the pictures. The view was amazing. We enjoyed both the pool and the beach right in front of the property. Whenever we felt like going to town we just hopped on one of the buses. It was so convenient and way cheaper than taking a taxi. Sal called us on our first day to make sure everything was okay which was a pleasant surprise. We had a great time! Thank You!
