About This Listing
In the fashion district of Brussels, the trendy Dansaert street, you will find this cosy one bedroom appartment in a typical Brussels building. The appartment consists of a kitchenette, a living room; a dining room with balcony, a bath room with shower and a romantic bedroom.
It is located on the third floor (no elevator).
All the major city highlights (manneke pis, the cathedral, the bourse... ) are walking distance. You are located near the Brussels canal, with a walking boulevard (under construction) and some popular bars.
If you want to explore the city more: the subway station (line 1), tramstop & busstop (Vlaamse poort) are around the corner & if you feel courageous (= Brussels is build on 7 hills & the traffic is murder) you can rent a bike at the Villo station (city bike rental) in the next street.
It is ideal for a single/ couple but the fold out couch in the living room makes sleepovers with 4 possible.
1 bedroom - bathroom with shower, toilet & sink, kitchen with microwave, 4 pits stove, refrigerator - a dining room with a table and 4 chairs - a sitting room with the TV and the fold out couch.
There is a rack for hanging clothes and some sidetables and artwork
smoking only on the balcony

My first Airbnb trip and it was great. Liezelot was very warm and welcoming and provided many good tips for restaurant, bars and shops .
The apartment is as described, bright & sunny and perfectly located to explore the vivid and polyglot Rue Dansaert area. If you are a foodie or interested in fashion this is a good place for you. It's also a good base to explore most of Brussels via foot since its just a ten minute walk to the central Boulevard Anspach and ten more to the museum hill.
The kitchen provides everything to cook a meal and the dining area in the apartment is nice and spacious. But honestly with everything from a good and cheap Pakistani restaurant just across the street over the excellent bistro "Fork" just two minutes away and many upscale eats just a few steps more you won't really bother to cook.
The living room-sofa is a good place to rest after long walks and the views out on the street are nice.
The Bedroom goes out to Rue Dansaert and hence provides what for some are the sounds of the city and for others is noise. The windows are very good in keeping the noise out and it didn't bother me a bit. But if you like to sleep with windows open or are a very sensitive person this might be an issue for you.
Roundabout I highly recommend this apartment for weekend trips to Brussels and even longer stays. The easy and fast public transfer both from the Airport and the Central Station is another plus.
Liezlot was a great host! She was prompt when responding to messages for the key exchange. After she showed me around the flat, she gave me a great map of Brussels and Brugge. Liezlot pointed out great areas on the map of the city of Brussels and gave really great bar suggestions. The flat was a wonderful, clean space for two guests. It was in a perfect location. It was quiet enough but still in a buzzing neighborhood. We could walk to small clothing shops, cafes, into the city center and was a great pubic transportation location.
What an experience for our honeymoon. We were running late but leizelot kindly worked around us. She gave a thorough welcome outlining the best of the city and recommended spots for the true Brussels local experience. We've eaten the best waffles and breakfasts at Charlie's on her recommendation. The flat is in a great location waking distance to everywhere and neat clean and exceptionally spacious. Very light and airy and the balcony gives that European experience. We would definitely come back. Even to the point we rented Liezelot's other flat upstairs to extend our experience. We highly recommend.
