Monti is located by the Roman Forum, it is actually Rome's oldest suburb, you will have the Colosseum at one end of your street and Termini central station a short bus trip or walk away. You also have 2 Underground Metro station close by so getting around town wont be an issue. Via Cavour is 50 metres away and it has many restaurants and bars, scooter rental shops, tour operators and shops all the way up it.
Via dei Serpenti is another great street close by, with a Piazza popular among Italians, expats and tourists. There's a fantastic wine bar there on the corner, perfect for evening Aperitivo's. Along this street during the day, you will find some authentic Roman bakeries that are a must visit.
I know of a few great tour guides in the area which I can suggest, just make sure you tell me in advance so you don't miss out on some critical tours, there's just so much to see.
Sun, great view, quiet upmarket neighbourhood and well connected to the rest of the city...Dolce vita indeed.

The host was fantastic, both accommodating and helpful. The flat was lovely, comfortable and in a fantastic location. Monti is fantastically situated while having an arty, layback feel. There are some fabulous bars and local restaurants, however the street itself is quiet. I'd highly recommend this Pompei (name of host) flat and area to stay.
we had a very nice stay in this flat. all was perfect prepared and according our requests and alexs promises organized. for sure the next time again. the street is a bit away from the bussy one (whats at the end the best what can happen in this bussy city) but only a jump from all what a visitor of rom needs.
may be one or two remarks regarding cleanliness alex, your staff should also clean-up under the bed ;-). and may be something to have to clean the dish and a dish washer tab would be nice. all other, kitchen equipment, TV, wifi, furnitsher, towle, shower gel - simply said - perfect, we slept very well in the bed (what happens to me, travelling 5 months in a year, not really to often).
last hint, no critic, i missed to listen my music. me and your agent could not find a device for it.
thanx and see you next
The listing description and pictures very accurately portray the actual flat. Alessandro's staff was very friendly, walked us through the apartment and told us about the neighborhood in detail, and also provided excellent recommendations for cuisine and things to do. I would definitely go back!
A great little flat in a perfect location in Rome. We loved staying in the Monti area, the flat is close to lots of great restaurants, gelato shops and little boutiques that are somewhat off the tourist path. The flat itself is a good size for two people, comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. The bathroom is a little on the older side but no real issues. Alex was a great host, provided lots of information before we arrived and was happy to provide suggestions on restaurants, wines etc during our stay. Would recommend if you are looking for a cosy spot right in the middle of beautiful Monti!

Alex was a wonderful host. He met us right on time and gave us a very thorough and professional introduction to the apartment. We felt right at home immediately. It's a great space with lots of light from big windows and nice views of the neighborhood rooftops and gardens (and shutters for sleeping late). Everything in the space was clean and set up well. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and were super cute. Nice high ceilings and wood floors in a beautiful old building. The neighborhood is awesome with great restaurants nearby, a cool artists market on the weekend, and many other nice shops. It's very well located for walking all over the city or getting to public transit. We'd definitely stay here again -- will always be our top choice for Rome.
Great apartment, great location! Very clean and bright. Much appreciated the Christmas tree that was set up! We also had a great dinner at the osteria near Campo di Fiori, many thanks for that tip!
