The Place (about 1,600 sq ft):
Historic, Elegant, Cozy- I was recently told that it is "Better than the Taj, better than the Four Seasons... it's incredible" by a guest from early December. Sitting by the window in the living room is really something special, especially now during the fall. There are extra aero beds and plenty of space if you have guests/children with you.
The Master Bedroom is spacious and comes with its own bathroom, which has its own separate changing room. It also comes with a view of the private court yard and a full closet.
The other bedroom is on the opposite side of the apartment (Facing the street); it also has a walk in closet and a full bathroom just outside the door.
The dining room is spectactular. Ask about it when you arrive!
Location: You are a couple of blocks from the park, shopping, restaurants. The neighborhood is original Boston houses with old fashioned street lamps. People walk up and down your street taking pictures - I recommend you do as well - it's beautiful, especially with the leaves on the trees changing colors. Needs (Whole Foods, CVS, liquor stores) are all within a couple of blocks.
I try to keep the kitchen stocked - my home is your home.
There is all kinds of art and antiques in the apartment for those of you who enjoy old/unique things.
I grew up and went to school in Boston - I may know a hidden gem or two and am happy to show you around
Walking distance to cool places (From (website hidden) maps)
Boston Commons: < 5 Minutes
Charles St shopping and restaurants: < 5 Minutes
Park Street Subway Station (Red and Green lines): 8 Minutes
North End (Little Italy), Faneuil Hall (Quincy Market), and Newbury St. are all less than a mile.
Conclusion: I fell in love with the place when I first saw it, and I'm excited to share it with you. Looking forward to meeting you.
Very convenient location that's close to places that make for a great vacation in Boston. Spacious living room & 2 bedrooms. Worked out well for 4 people.
The best place to stay in Boston.
In a great neighborhood, a wonderful apartment very well furnished and fully (website hidden) Vernon is one of the most beautiful streets in Boston, and the others are very close to it! Everything is within reach, on foot or with a few minutes by the T.
The apartment itself is a very spacious 2 bedroom - 2 bathroom furnished with taste and "bon goût". Everything you need is there, and Bobby responds very quickly and very efficiently if you have questions. The best place is the living room, with a wonderful window on the trees outside (blooming in may). The ceiling decorated with stars in the dining-room is a must if you have children. Beds are very good, a. D everything you need is provided, you need is there, and morevocer it's beautiful.
If I were lucky enough to visit Boston once more, I would definetely try to stay there once more, don't hesitate for one second to see by yourself, I'm sure you would as well.
This is truly a great place in a great location. We walked everyplace. We had a car but never used it.
Fantastic location, the best street in Boston. Great local restaurants. Fabulous wine store at the end of the street on charles street. An excellent location for a long weekend in Boston.
A charming host. An amazing apartment. A wonderful location. A truly unforgettable experience!
The apartment is incredible and very unique and Bobby was a friendly and responsive host. We loved everything about our first Airbnb experience so thank you Bobby!
My husband and I stayed here with our 4-month old son and my mother for 5 nights. The apartment was huge and we were more than comfortable. Photos really don't do the place justice. It was also very clean and the kitchen and bathrooms had everything you would need, including an expansive cook book collection! It really felt like a home away from (website hidden) Vernon St and Beacon Hill in general is so beautiful and historically significant. I don't know Boston very well, but from what I experienced I imagine this is one of the most beautiful and exclusive pockets in the entire city. If we didn't have a city to explore, I would have been happy spending the whole day with a book just gazing out the enormous windows!
I can't recommend this apartment highly enough! I would most certainly stay here again.
Beautiful, classic, Boston apartment in the best location. Very responsive host. The experience exceeded our expectations.
Bobby was a great host. The apartment was wonderful. Much better than the pictures. Everything was clean and comfortable. There's no parking that's convenient, but that's just a Boston thing. Great neighborhood though. Right by Boston Commons. I very much enjoyed my stay.
We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to stay for our first airbnb experience. The apartment is incredible, with magnificent windows that look out onto one of the finest streets on Beacon Hill. The two bedrooms and large living areas made it perfect for two couples, and the two baths were an extra bonus. Everything in the apartment was clean, and a well-equipped kitchen made it easy for eating in (the one night we chose to do so).
The location couldn't be better....great restaurants and shopping, Boston Common, public transportation all so close by, not to mention the fabulous neighborhood.
Bobby was the perfect host - warm, personable, professional and easily available if we had any concerns or questions.
If you want to stay in a fabulous place in a beautiful, historic neighborhood with a terrific host, this is the place.
Old world living space
Tad drafty and cool near windows (guessing that this is historical area where windows cannot be replaced and double glazed)
