Room Close to Paulista/Consolação

Apartment - Private room · R. Caio Prado, São Paulo, São Paulo 01303-001, Brazil

The Space

Private room with double bed, desk and wi-fi internet. If you are in two people but you don't want to share the double bed, we have a sofa bed in the living room which can be used. Bed sheets, warm blankets and towels included. We have some small shampoo/soap to offer for your personal use if you need and also some free city maps!

It is a cozy apartment with an equipped kitchen with toaster, waffle maker, microwave oven, filtered water, fridge and stove that can be used. There is a grocery store three blocks away from our apartment and you are free to use oil, salt, sugar and seasons from our kitchen.
If you need to wash some clothes we have a washing machine and clothes iron / iron table.
In our living room there is a SMART TV with access to internet and USB/HDMI connection.

We really enjoy welcoming people, sharing stories and tips on what to do in the city, where to go, places to eat, to go out/dance and so on. São Paulo is a city with a lot of options and we can help you to decide where to go. We both speak fluent English and we have lived abroad so we know what is like to be a foreign traveler :)

We can understand some intermediate Spanish and French if necessary.

The apartment is close to Consolação and Augusta streets but without the pubs and nightclubs' noise. It is an excellent location in a really safe region, with an all-night movement on the streets and police patrols. There are parking options nearby and a 24 hour gas station right on the corner.

You can walk to restaurants, malls (we are close to Shopping Higienopolis and Shopping Frei Caneca), drugstores, theaters/movies, convention centers, Mackenzie University, public squares, pubs and nightclubs of all kind and costs.

You are welcome!

- 10 minutes walking from Guarulhos Airport executive bus station
- There are always taxis on the street (a taxi ride from Tietê bus station is about R$22 to R$35 depending on the traffic)

Thanks Igor! It was great to have you with us.

  • Ivan's girlfriend Laís gave us a very warm welcome and couldn't have made us feel more at home. She gave us good advice, keys to her house and was generally just very helpful and adorable. Very clean house, comfy bed, central and in a student neighborhood.
I'm really glad we got to stay with Ivan and Laís! Thanks guys and hope to see you soon!

    Response from Ivan:

    Thanks Anaëlle!

  • Totally agree with Niko's review. Very welcoming hosts. Also didn't get a chance to meet with Ivan and communicated with a wonderful young lady. One thing to add, after few minutes of talking with her, you'll feel that her English is either her first language, or she spent most of her live perfecting it.
You'll have a great time staying at this place. I sure will be lucky to reserve the room when I need to be in SP.

  • As you can see I'm staying at this place again.
I really enjoyed the hospitality and I'm sure I'll try to reserve this place again.
    Regards, and thanks,

    Response from Ivan:

Thanks Simon! Good luck on the rest of your trip!

  • Ivan was a great host! I didn't have the pleasure to meet him but his girlfriend was excellent in recommending local places around, provided very helpful maps and information, and even received us in the middle of the night due to our flight arrangements. The place is close to Paulista avenue and safe to walk at night. I highly recommend Ivan's place and will be happy to be there again sometime.

  • Great place to stay! Ivan and I had some friends in common, and he worked at the Hub Sao Paulo. The Hub was the main reason I stayed in Sao Paulo, so his place was perfect. It was great to stay with Ivan and Lais!
