Beautiful open floor-plan loft on the hippest street in downtown LA.
Film Ready. There is a large freight elevator in the rear of the building with direct access to the alley.

- Bosch appliances, birch floors, and designer cabinets/fixtures
- Full kitchen for you to use at your disposal
- Laundry dryer combo unit tucked inside small closest
- Sound-isolated units (exception for the typical city/street sounds)
- 2 full bathrooms, both with large built-in stone tubs
- WiFi and cable
- Plenty of street level parking in this part of downtown
- Outdoor amenities: Jacuzzi and cold plunge, 2 large grills, and private dining area surrounded by sensational tropical gardens
- Rooftop access which has, in my opinion, the best view of the downtown skyline available.
The "Old Bank District" is the most culture-rich part of downtown LA - and it's growing in awesomeness every day. The ground floor of the Rowan contains a number of shops (including the trendy Buzz Beer & Wine). Across the street is the famous "Last Bookstore" and all along Spring and Main Streets are wonderful cafes, restaurants, and nightlife activities. Also, there's a farmer's market on our corner every Sunday morning and we are 1 block away from the metro station.

Beautiful loft with everything you could want or need. When I was here during a business trip, I felt instantly at home among Marci and Ryan's personal belongings. They have great taste and I love the mix of wood, brick with modern steel. This place is a gem!
We had a wonderful time in the loft of Marci & Ryan. The historic building still has his old windows, so sometimes it can be loud at night. This is the price you have to pay to stay in the heart of a living city with museums like the MOCA or Frank Gehrys Music Hall in walking distance.
Here are my complaints: ZERO! :-)
Marci and Ryan's place is fantastic and so are they! A handy note was left with WiFi and other relevant info. Meanwhile, arrival and departure couldn't have been simpler or more convenient, and Marci and Ryan were incredibly nice people.
And their place was fantastic. It's in a nice building and the parking garage they provide access to is very convenient.
I will definitely look them up on AirBnB again the next time I need to stay in downtown LA.
Ryan and Marci were great hosts. Very responsive and flexible when I arrived much later than anticipated. Lots of vibrant life around their place in LA. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Great building and location. Very fun neighborhood. The loft looks as it does in the pictures. Nice. A bit of street noise at night but nothing an earplug won't handle. Marci was a great host.
Marci and Ryan are really good hosters, they are so sweet to prepared everything you need for staying confortable. The room is exactly same as you saw in the photos, big windowns with sunshine. The location is great, easy to fnd food and drinks, we all love it.
Marci and Ryan are excellent hosts, they are so helpful and so welcoming and was really trying their best to make sure their guests to have a great stay. In fact, I 've been searching on internet for quite a while for a place to host my daughter's 1st birthday tea party, then I came across this wonderful loft said suitable for events, this loft is spacious with a lot of styles, price is reasonable, what an ideal place for a cozy gathering I thought, I even postponed my party to make sure I can reserve this place. However, I was still a little worried that Marci and Ryan might not want to rent their place out for having a party originally, but to my surprise, they are totally fine with it and not even trying to add any extra rules for me. I am really so thankful about their hospitality and we did had a great time having our baby's beautiful 1st birthday party there. I would recommend renting here for everyone.
Marci and Ryan are friendly, responsive, wonderful hosts. Their apartment is super-clean, stylish and in a nice building downtown. Big windows let in lots of sun. The bed is very comfortable. They are practiced Airbnb hosts who leave lots of fresh towels, and even toiletries.
A couple of VERY small caveats for guests--the area can get a little loud at night; you can hear it even on the ninth floor. And the living room isn't really set up for lounging, unless you like to lounge in straight-backed chairs. :)
Marci and Ryan made my birthday amazing. They welcomed my boyfriend and I into their home, and showed nothing but great hospitality. They were so sweet to us, and gave me a little surprise cupcake on the bed, wishing me a happy birthday. The loft was very homey and very gorgeous. i couldn't ask for a better experience from such a great couple.
