Beautiful 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath Cozumel home located in the Corpus Christi neighborhood. Includes a rooftop party deck, large private pool and hot tub.

The space
Casa Cascada is a custom home in Cozumel Mexico that sleeps 8 and incorporates the Mexican culture with all the comforts of modern living, including the newest appliances and electronics. The location is fantastic and centrally located in the exclusive Corpus Christi neighborhood. We are one block away from the park and the beautiful Corpus Christi Church. You can hear the church bells chime. The house is within walking distance of almost everything. You will never share the home with anyone else.

The living room opens to the pool via a large sliding glass door with flanking windows. For convenience right off the pool and living room, you'll also find a 1/2 bath and full laundry room, complete with laundry detergent, fabric softener and bleach. There is a large flat screen television with cable connection, surround sound stereo that also allows for music through the rock speaker by the pool.

The home is 100% fully furnished...from towels and soaps to a blender for those sunset margaritas. There's a library of books to choose from, games to play, popular movie DVD's, sunscreen (in case you forgot yours), beach towels, beach chairs, high speed internet and so much more. You also have his and hers bicycles available for your use during your stay.

The kitchen comes equipped with a stove, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and coffee maker. The dining room has a large window that overlooks the pool and landscaped yard.

There is secure gated parking on the property for your rental car or scooter and you'll also find a luxurious pool with a waterfall Jacuzzi/hot tub that is just perfect for sunning when you want to relax around the house. There is also a scuba rinse tank to clean your dive gear. Don't forget the rooftop party deck! On the third floor, there is an awesome open air space just perfect for midday sunning, a sunset party or midnight margarita.

There are 3 bedrooms...two spacious masters on the second floor and a downstairs bedroom that has a separate but lockable entrance. Every bedroom has its own pillow-top mattress, mini-split air conditioner, digital safe, flat screen TV, DVD player and clock radio with iPod docking station. Each full bath has a built in hair dryer.

The Seashell bedroom has a king size bed (that can be arranged into 2 twins). It's decorated in Caribbean hues that are soothing and tropical. There is a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, a dressing area, closet and a beautiful bathroom. The counter top is glass so you can see the shell design and sand below. There is a large walk in shower that is very luxurious.

The large travel room has a king size bed and is decorated in earth tones and rich browns. There is a flat screen TV with cable, DVD player, a sitting area and also room to put a queen size air mattress (which is provided along with all the linens). The shower is elegant and unique with its large rain head shower and hand laid rock floor and border. Very organic.

The downstairs bedroom (the Fishbowl) is perfect for sleeping 3 singles (or 3 children). This bedroom, decorated in festive fish decor (including a hand painted underwater scene), has bunk beds with a trundle, a closet, flat screen television with cable, full bath AND it's own entrance into the house, a private garden and private outside gate (which can all be locked if needed). This room is also perfect for a live in house keeper or cook during your stay. We can also 'lock' this room so the home can be rented as a 2 bedroom.

Neighborhood highlights

Located in the safe Corpus Christi Neighborhood one block away from the park and church. It's super easy to hail a taxi as some pass in front of the house but it's also a short walk to 11 or the Malecon where taxis are plentiful.

There is a restaurant across the street from the home that has AMAZING food and drinks. They will also prepare food to go if you've had a long day of diving.
There are MULTIPLE great restaurants back 2 blocks on 30. One local place on the back left of the park on the corner of 30 has the best sopa de limon on the island. YUM!

On the weekends, the restaurant across from Casa Cascada is a great place to hang out and dance with the locals until 2 am.

In my early 20's , I lived and worked in Cozumel, coming back to the states on occasion to visit family and friends. I met my husband on one of the trips back to the states. We're both water lovers and after we married and had a son, we decided to buy a home on Lake Lanier in GA which is where we currently live. I've been lucky to telecommute 100% so this allows us to travel when we get the itch. When I was living in Cozumel, I fell in love with not only the beautiful island but the value that the locals placed in enjoying each day with family and friends. Years ago...on the main street, I would watch locals close their stores, losing business as tourists passed by, and walk across the street to sit on the wall and watch the sunset. In (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , I saved enough money while on the island, to buy the lot that the house is now built on. At the time, there were hardly any homes in the area and no street lights. In the late 90's, with the economy faltering and affecting my husband's business, we decided it was time to finish the Cozumel House. We packed up and took our son for 4 months to the island while we did an 'extreme makeover'! It was truly a leap of faith and it's wonderful to see how the area has developed into streets of exclusive homes along with a beautiful park and church. I hope the island moves you as it continues to move me every time I visit. Mi casa es su casa. Fast forward 20 years...after many Florida vacations with our son, we decided it was time to have another home away from home. We landed on buying a condo on the West end of Panama City Beach. Always by the water. :) We welcome you to enjoy our homes and experience a relaxed pace in sun drenched Cozumel and PCB Fla.
