The apartment is on the third floor of an ancient palace of the nineteenth century in the heart of Trastevere. Consisting of a double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room where there is a double sofa bed.
Its structure and location makes it perfect for a couple who want to spend a quiet and romantic place in the heart of the city within walking distance of all the sights and Roman monuments. The sofa with a double bed also gives the possibility to accommodate families with 2 children.
Despite being in the heart of Trastevere, a few tens of meters from the oldest church in Rome (Santa Maria in Trastevere), the apartment is very quiet and peaceful as it overlooks a quiet street.
Trastevere is the most characteristic district of Rome. It is located on the west side (right) of the river Tiber, south of Vatican City, in the heart of the city just a few minutes walk from the main monuments and tourist attractions.
It is one of the most lively, characteristic and self-sufficient city. Offers typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias as well as cinemas, markets (San Cosimato was renovated just recently), banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant shops.
During the day turns into a sleepy province late nineteenth century, the evening becomes one of the busiest places in the Roman nightlife.

Our family, two adults and two teenagers, stayed 6 nights at Fabio's apartment. This was our first time in Rome and firts time with Airbnb so we where a little bit worried how this will turn out. But everything went really fine! We took a taxi from the Airport to the aparment and Fabio was wating for us. Fabio was really helpfull. The appartment is, as other has already commented, much better than in pictures.
We think the rooms are nearly 3,5 meters high :-) It fellt like "home", and it was a pleasure to come back to after a long day.
The only thing we miss, was a better WiFi connection, had to sit near the window.
If you stay in Trastevere and plan to use the metro, prepare to walk, the metro is far away. But you can use the tram easily and the historical places are quite near.
Yes, we recommend this apartment and Trastevere.
Thank you Fabio!
Located in a beautiful street in the Trastevere & very centrally located, Fabio's apartment is an absolute gem! Very spacious, tidy, cosy with lots of natural light and air. We loved this apartment and our stay in the Trastevere and found everything within walking distance. Fabio was a very welcoming, kind and charming host who was extremely helpful with tips and provided lots of travel information. I would highly recommend Fabio's apartment to anyone traveling to Rome.
Fabio's apartment is amazing and really well located. I went with my parents and stayed there for almost a week. Everything is at walking distance, and Trastevere is definitely the place to be: restaurants, bars... Fabio was also always friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back!
Fabio is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. Apartment is in great local, we loved our stay.
We stayed 5 nights in Fabio's apartment. It was wonderful, clean, compact but not cramped, good for 2 or 3 people. Definitely charming apt and area. The Trastevere neighborhood is friendly, a great place to wander and has an abundance of enjoyable restaurants. Convenient location for seeing all parts of Rome for the first time.
Fabio was helpful and personally introduced us to some of the local people and places to eat. Key collection was easy on both ends of our stay.
We had a really excellent stay in Rome. Fabio's apartment is exactly as it says on the site. It was lovely and comfortable and clean. Although it is in the heart of Trastevere it is on a lovely quiet street and so is very peaceful. The bar round the corner does a lovely capuccino for less than a Euro!
Fabio was a great host, and made sure we had his contact details in the event of any issues. Although we didn't need to contact him during the stay it was nice to know he was around if required. Highly recommended.
I stayed with Fabio together with my sister and father for a long weekend Rome in februari and we had a great stay. The house of Fabio is very nice, clean, cozy and in the best area you can be. Just around the corner starts buzzling Trastevere. Everyday night it was a pleasure to come back to Trastevere to eat and drink there. And then it was just two steps to our own appartement. A big door enters you to a enormous, marmer hallway. From there you walk a few stairs and there it is. How luxurious!
I consider the house for Rome-standaards quit big. It has a kitchen (with everything you need when you would like to cook), a nice bathroom, a bedroom and a sleepover couch in the livingroom. Internet is a bit difficult, you have to sit very close to the window to get some (free) wifi. But just next door is a internetcafe.
Fabio was very considered with us. He kept in touch by sms, so we could ask him anything we needed.
I would definitely recommend this place!
