About this listing
Do you want to live a unique and romantic stay in Rome and experience the feeling of living by Roman in one of the most characteristic of the center of ancient Rome?
Well, this is the place to achieve it.
The apartment is on the third floor of an ancient palace of the nineteenth century in the heart of Trastevere. Consisting of a double bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchen and a living room where there is a double sofa bed.
Its structure and location makes it perfect for a couple who want to spend a quiet and romantic place in the heart of the city within walking distance of all the sights and Roman monuments. The sofa with a double bed also gives the possibility to accommodate families with 2 children.
Despite being in the heart of Trastevere, a few tens of meters from the oldest church in Rome (Santa Maria in Trastevere), the apartment is very quiet and peaceful as it overlooks a quiet street.
Trastevere is the most characteristic district of Rome. It is located on the west side (right) of the river Tiber, south of Vatican City, in the heart of the city just a few minutes walk from the main monuments and tourist attractions.
It is one of the most lively, characteristic and self-sufficient city. Offers typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias as well as cinemas, markets (San Cosimato was renovated just recently), banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant shops.
During the day turns into a sleepy province late nineteenth century, the evening becomes one of the busiest places in the Roman nightlife.
Idéalement placé pour sillonner Rome à pieds,
L'appartement est situé dans une rue calme d'un quartier animé.

Fabio's apartment is a perfect place to stay in Rome! It is just as Fabio described it and can easily accommodate four adults. It really has all you need. Trastevere itself is a fantastic location - a lively neighbourhood with restaurants, bars, cafes and quaint little shops. If you like walking (and you will be doing plenty of it in Rome anyway) you could actually walk to all the attractions in the Ancient Rome and Centro Storico. The Vatican isn't too far either (though you have to go up a hill).
Fabio was a great host, maintaining regular contact, replying to all questions and making sure we felt welcome in his apartment.
He was also very patient waiting to check us in, when it was taking us quite long to leave the airport.
If I am ever back in Rome I will definitely be in touch with Fabio!
We had a great time in Rome!
Although we arrived very late (we were supposed to land around 11pm, but our flight was one hour delayed), Fabio patiently waited for us, showed us the apartment and gave us some basic instructions.
The description of the apartment is pretty much accurate, everything was as described. The kitchen is very well decorated and super functional. The apartment can easily accommodate 4 adults. The sofa-bed provided great nights of sleeping.
The neighbourhood is perfect. Trastevere is very picturesque, full of bars and restaurants. However, the street where the apartment is situated is actually very quiet during the night.
Fabio was very welcoming and always willing to provide additional help.
Great host! Fabio was there to greet us at his apartment, and was really charming - showed us around and explained how everything in the flat worked. The flat is beautiful, more than big enough for two people with a good kitchen, good shower water pressure, big living room to relax in and firm comfortable bed. The location is pretty unbeatable – right in the heart of Trastevere's restaurants/bars but a street away from the the noisy bits, so no problem with noise at night. No wifi, but all bars/cafes have it around there so not really a problem. It's 2mins from public transport into the centre. We recommend Bar San Castilo 1 minute away around the corner, great vibes! We would definitely ask Fabio if we could stay again next time we visit Rome :-)
Great apartment. Very comfortable and cute with good space and a good size bathroom compared to other places I stayed in Italy. Also plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby and easy to walk to many of the main tourist sites in Rome. Fabio is very friendly and helpful. Would defiantly recommend this place to anyone staying in Rome.
We had an amazing time in Rome and at Fabio's apartment. It's in a great location and Fabio was a lovely host. Thanks for having us!
