  • Rebecca is the sweetest host ever! She is very quick to respond to any questions you might have about anything.

The apartment was really incredible. The room is big and comfortable and all the amenities were fantastic.

The neighbourhood was a little confusing to navigate at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty easy walk to the subway (about 5 minutes) and it takes you directly downtown within about 20 minutes. Really convenient!

  • Rebecca is a delight. The room is large and clean. Although there is a learning curve about the location. We found the buses come even closer the Metro. When using the buses take a copy of Goggle Map, people are very gracious about helping. It really a convenient location and away from all the crowds. The breakfast is minimal, but fruit stands and bakery close by. Sharing bathrooms was different for us but, it worked and there was an amazing selection of toiletries. Be sure and print out your own Goople Map directions from Libia Metro exit on Via Tigre. It is close but we took 1hr to find it.

  • We had a great stay at Sweet Home in Rome. Everything was very uncomplicated and cordially. Rebecca is very helpful and nice and the apartment provides everything you need for a great city trip.
Trieste is a very relaxed quarter, where you get a great capuccino and a yummy cornetto at every neighbourhood store, so that every day starts perfectly:-)
Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

  • Rebecca was a lovely host, she picked us up from the airport or we would have never found the place. Paying her for the taxi service was safer than anything. The place is clean. No T.V. It's an apartment with four separate bedrooms sharing two bathrooms (1 women's, 1 men's) the women's had hot water trouble and everyone used the men's; no maid service. You have to tiptoe at night to not wake anyone and use the bathroom near the kitchen to keep quiet. There is a kitchen for use and breakfast items left for you for nourishment. Couples probably would have issues with sharing the bathroom with other people because you never know who will be up at night and we had eight people at one time; that wasn't the best. There was six young adults who were messy and smelly, but the cost of the stay overrides the cons because it is really cheap. You get what you pay for. The pizza place downstairs was fantastic since it was family run. It's in a local town that is residential. You walk to the subway 10 minutes away to get to your places of interest. Subway is better than bus. It's a great way to learn how to manage Rome, but next time, I'd stay in a hotel with our own bathroom and clean towels every day and be closer to the sightseeing. Younger kids won't mind this place; but for a first time traveler to Italy, it was a learning experience. It's in a little suburb called Nomentano that is outside the Historic District.

About
Hi there, I'm Rebecca. I live in a delicious apartment in the center of Rome. Often during weekends I take my bike and I cross the center of Rome, through the Colosseum, along Via dei Fori Imperiali, up to Piazza di Spagna and Trevi Fountain ... sometimes I stop along the way to have delicious pasta and red wine. During my holiday I like to travel around the world with my backpack, in search of places and people to impress in my memory. Rebecca, originally from Puglia, south of Italy, I have lived in Rome for six years. I Study Medicine at the Sapienza University and I work part-time as bartender. I like the contact with the people and I have always worked in this sector enjoying myself thanks to my kindness and cordiality. I love the sport, I have played volleyball for 10 years and often with friends we organize to play beach volleyball. I use to go to theater, cinema and ride bicycle that often accompany my free time. From all this you can deduce that I will make your stay in the Eternal City unforgettable, I plan also weekend out of town (the area around Rome are wonderful, with its countryside, medieval towns and spa) fantastic bike ride and dinners with friends in the Roman Trattoria. I wait for you!!!
