A lovely house in a quiet place in Singekerta, Ubud. The house is a 10 minute walk to Nyuh Kuning where you will find swimming pools and many nice restaurants. The famous Monkey Forest is about a 30 minute walk.
The house (total 64m2) has beautiful Balinese architecture with high ceilings. The house has an open air living room and kitchen with a view on the garden. The bedroom and bathroom are indoors and can be locked. The house is fully furnished including a 32" LCD TV with access to Dutch and Belgium TV channels. The house is looked after by a lovely pembantu (housekeeper) for two mornings a week.
It is about a 30 minute walk to Monkey Forest, you then walk through the forest and you are in Ubud. Monkey Forest is a very famous place. Nyuh Kuning is a 10 minute walk, where you find many nice Waroengs (unique local food) and other restaurants. You will have access to many taxi companies but of course I can recommend good drivers to you. A nice swimming pool, at Hotel Bali Spirit, is a 10 minute walk. I do not rent for one night and prefer long term stays.
Interaction with Guests
I can give lots of advice and tips to my guests and my pembantu (housekeeper) can too.
Singekerta is far enough from the town centre to relax but close enough to pop into town for a coffee or juice. The suburb has many rice fields, old Balinese homes and lovely Balinese traditions. If you like the old Bali, then this is the place to be.
Close by there are many places to rent a motorbike, rent a bike, rent a taxi, and they can bring you to great places - you see much more!
I hope people respect my house and my things, and if something happens, I want people to contact me, so we can discuss the problem. I want people to treat my pembantu (housekeeper) with great respect. She is such a lovely person. If something is wrong, please contact me and not the pembantu, so we can discuss the matter.
Stay here and you could give this host their first review!
Hello, I live already more then 6 years in Ubud, now in a small remote village Singekerta near Ubud. It is a great area to walk and cycle, so much to (website hidden) children live in Australia and the Netherland, we have sometimes great holidays here! If I travel it is to visit my children! I read a lot, have great friends here, swim a lot in a hotel pool nearby! I am still learning Bahasa Indonesia, like to watch movies and go to movie night here in Ubud.
