Are you arriving by car? You will find a convenient car park in nearby via Martucci. The Piazza Amedeo underground station and funicular are right by the flat.
For your ‘around the corner’ strolling, when you feel like a snack try the famous Neapolitan caprese (mozzarella, tomato and basil) and the tomato pizzas in the historic Moccia pastry shop at via San Pasquale 24. For an early morning breakfast we suggest the “Gran Riviera Bar” at via Riviera di Chiaia 181.
As to restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice: we suggest you try the scarpariello (pasta with tomatoes and cheese) at the “Oca verde” in via Santa Teresa a Chiaia.
On the same street you’ll find the “Enoteca di Tonino” which serves inexpensive typical homecooking for gourmets.
If you’re in the mood for fish, go to “Bruno” in via Riviera di Chiaia.
Right next door to the flat, we call your attention to the well-stocked “Arfè” delicatessen, where you can find superb takeaway dishes.
For your shopping, besides the most elegant boutiques in the area, you will find an open air market in via Carducci that sells just about everything.
Don’t miss the chance of visiting “Officine Orafi”, with its handcrafted jewellery at via Giuseppe Ferrigni 2, and on the same street at number 32, the “Idem” atelier with its leatherwear and accessories: two examples of traditional craftsmanship happily espousing the gusto for style and design.
And finally, a celebrated little old shop to visit is “Gay Odin”, the antique chocolate maker at via Vittorio Colonna 15b, where you will be delighted by its artisan production of chocolate.
