Totoro, our teardrop trailer, can sleep 2 people and comes with a wonderful little kitchen. It can be towed by most vehicles with a tow hitch. We use our Jetta Sportswagen to tow it, and we have hitches for 1.5" tow receiver. It accepts a 2" ball.
I love the simplicity of a teardrop trailer. It makes camping super simple and it is a mellow way to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors. Inclement weather is common in colorado, where hail and lightning can make camping with the tender hearted challenging. Instead of tent camping, enjoy the comfort and convenience of camping in our beloved Totoro. If your taking it to a festival, that is ok but please let us know and we may charge you extra.
Teardrops are smaller and more versatile than RVs or camper trailers, and Totoro weighs less than 1000 lbs. A Teardrop trailer can be towed by most vehicles with minimal impact on gas mileage. And its compact size makes it easy to maneuver in the woods – and through traffic on the way to the woods. There’s no mileage fee unlike RVs.
Totoro is the the perfect night sleep for an adventurous trip or quick weekend “bug-out” camping night at the last minute. The Galley contains all your cooking and dining gear. With room for wine, fine cheese, charcoal, fire wood, a french press and camp stove ready to cook– your ready to enjoy the best Colorado has to offer and eat well!
No 420 or cigarettes inside (obviously).
I'm a gardener and a lover of wild places. When I travel I love to hike and explore the local forests and mountains. In the past two years, I've oared a boat down the Grand Canyon and the Salmon River in Idaho. I love to ski the backcountry of Colorado and Wyoming. I live with my wife and 17 year old daughter, Cassidy, in Boulder, Colorado. I am the director of an integrative medicine clinic in uptown Boulder and bike commute in weather both fair and foul. If I am renting out our place in Boulder, in all likelihood, I am adventuring somewhere I have never been before!
