Interaction with Guests
We enjoy meeting fellow travellers and love our home city, so we are very happy to chat with you and provide local information or solve the problems of the world over a glass of wine or breakfast. On the other hand, we will also respect your privacy and leave you to relax in peace!
Fullarton is a quality, safe, quiet leafy suburb with a village feel, only 4 km from the centre of the city. The bus to the city is just a few minutes walk from our house. You will be staying within a short walk of a wide variety of gourmet cafes, pubs and restaurants as well as interesting shops and boutiques. We are adjacent to a bike path that leads into the city and onto Adelaide's delightful linear park, where you can ride along the river to either the beach or the hills. Two bikes are available. Walking into the city is also a pleasant option
The closest bus to the city is a 4 minute walk and stops at most of the main attractions in the city - Hutt Street cafe precinct, Central Market, Chinatown, Gouger Street restaurant strip, the Mall, North Terrace and the Arts precinct, Botanic Gardens. It also links very closely with the tram, the Airport buses and the two free Adelaide hop on/hop off buses.
There is a second bus, 10-12 minutes walk, that goes past Adelaide Oval and down to Glenelg Beach.
If you have a car the delights of the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Barossa wine regions make a lovely day trip and the beaches are 15-20 minutes away. The airport is 15 minutes drive. Parking is safe and easy - either on the driveway, or on the street where there is plenty of room.

Bev and Lester provide an experience not often found. A new home purposely designed for AIRBNB travelers. Experienced worldwide AIRBNB travelers themselves.. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. If you have the fortune to be staying over the weekend, you will find Bev and Lester...(mostly Bev sorry Lester) in the kitchen creating the most wonderful breakfast...for everyone. Absolutely beautiful people that will have you wanting to come back.
Airbnb is a new experience for us & how lucky were we to have had that first experience as guests in Bev's home.
We were welcomed into a warm, modern home on a very cold winter day. Our bedroom was beautifully presented, with use of guests only lounge & bathrooms.
The off street parking was a bonus.
Bev was warm, welcoming & very helpful. We would recommend her accomodation to any who prefers the personal touch.
Thank you Bev, Lester and Albert for a fabulous stay. You gave me a great impression of Adelaide and helped me see plenty around my busy work schedule. The rooms were spotless and extremely homely. I would recommend this stay to anyone and hope to revisit again myself.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Bev. Bev was very welcoming. Was great to have our own lounge, kitchen and bathroom. A lovely area with beautiful houses and the best bakery ever just around the corner! Close to bus stop. Bev is an amazing foodie and gave us a delicious, generous breakfast. Thank you.
We loved staying here! It was clean and extremely comfortable and Bev was lovely, very hospitable. Our breakfasts were wholesome and a great start to the day. We loved having our own little part of the house and would recommend this listing to any of our friends that are going to Adelaide!
We felt welcomed and comfortable from the first moment we arrived!
Bev & Lester house is designed in a way that her guests can enjoy privacy without being totally separated from the house but somehow connected to her dining and kitchen areas. A well designed bathroom with a Brita filter jug (for fresh drinking water! I know this is a simple detail but everything adds to comfort!). We had two bedrooms, one for our two daughters and another for my husband and I. And a very welcomed sitting room. Everyone loved the continental breakfast that Bev provided, fresh fruit salad, homemade yoghurt, homemade fig jam and passionfruit curd a gourmet treat!
We had a very busy time with Womadelaide festival and we really needed our rental vehicle. Parking is difficult in Adelaide.
Thank you Bev & Lester we hope to see you again in Hobart.
I think this is exactly what Airbnb is about! Thank you, Bev and Lester, for being such hospitable and very welcoming hosts. I felt at home right in the beginning of my stay. To point this out, I really enjoyed our communication and for sure the absolutely clean and comfy bedroom, the personal bathroom, the modern apartement, the trip to Henley Beach (thank you for your bike, Lester, felt like a local with it), Bev, your, outstanding passion fruit curd, Albert the dog, breakfast on the terrace etc.
It was all excellent! And I wish to come back again!
