Come stay at our charming apartment in the heart of Beacon Hill!
Our sun-filled apartment is on the third floor of a walk-up brownstone in one of Boston’s most desirable neighborhoods. We live in a beautifully furnished two bedroom, two full-bath apartment that comes with everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
The first floor of our home boasts a full kitchen, large living room, one queen bedroom, and one bathroom with a shower/tub. The stairs leading to the second floor open to a master suite that has a king bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub. Both bedrooms are equipped (email hidden) and the master bedroom also has an Apple TV. Beds will have fresh sheets and towels will be set-out in each bathroom upon your arrival. Please bring your own toiletries.
The kitchen is of moderate size, and allows us to do a lot of cooking. We have a toaster, KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix, coffee maker, stove, oven, fridge, freezer, kitchen utensils, and pots & pans. All of our kitchen supplies are available for your use.
Our living room is a great place to kick back and relax. Enjoy some home-cooked food or takeout at our dinning table (seats 4) or cozy up by the fire with a good book. We also have a 55” Flat-screen LED TV, Blu-ray DVD player, and an iPod SoundDock for your entertainment.
Secure high-speed wireless internet is included. My boyfriend is a computer programmer so I can promise you it is fast Wi-Fi.
It can’t be beat in Boston! Our home is located just steps from Mass General Hospital, the Charles River, the Boston Public Garden, Boston Common, and one of Boston’s most popular streets, Charles Street. We are also just a short walk or T-ride from the Freedom Trail, Copley Square, Newbury Street, Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market, the North End, MIT, Cambridge, and Harvard Square.
W Cedar Street is a quite, friendly street lined with cobblestone sidewalks and brownstones providing a quintessential “old” Boston feel. Our street runs parallel to Charles St, which has numerous wonderful restaurants, clothing stores, salons, bars, and cafes.
Public Transit is very close and convenient – Red line (Charles/MGH is 4min walk, Park St 15min), Green line (Government Center 15min, Arlington 15min, Park St 15min). We are only a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport (around $25) or a 35 minute ride by public transportation ($2.50/person).
Whether you are looking to walk the Freedom Trail, jump on a Duck Boat Tour, shop on Newbury St, or take a leisurely walk down Charles St and grab a bit to eat, you will find it all within walking distance. You could not be more conveniently located to take in all of the sites the city has to offer.
Please make sure you read the house rules and our entire posting before you inquire and book. This is a non-smoking apartment and pets are not allowed, sorry. Please contact me and share a little bit about yourself before booking! Thanks!
Spending the 2014 Memorial Day weekend at Kaitlyn's Beacon Hill penhouse was perfect!
Frist of all, the penthouse is in a beautiful neighbourhood and is close to so many of Boston's sites. We were fortunate enough to have nice weather, as the house is within walking distance of Quincy Market (15min), Newbury St (10min), and is mere steps from Boston Common. There are serveral coffee shops within a block or two to start your walk as well, not to mention the great resaturants close by.
The penthouse itself was a perfect size for four adults. We each had our own room and full bathroom, which was nice after a full day of sightseeing and walking. There are three TVs if one was inclinded to have a lazy day or evening. Kaitlyn left space in the fridge for provisions, such as cold Harpoon or bottles of water.
Lastly, Kaitlyn was a perfect host. The house was exactly as advertised and very clean upon arrival. Also, she helped with sightseeing and eating recommendations, as well as with parking (car not necessary in Boston). I never met Kaitlyn, but she was very helpful from the day we booked until the day we left.
I will definitely be back to visit Boston, but only when the penthouse is available to rent!
Location. Location. Location. Beautiful apartment, exactly as described. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Will definitely stay again. Communication was awesome from start to finish :)
The condo was very nice and a great location in Beacon Hill. We will definitely try to rent this condo again when we visit Boston. (There are quite a few stairs up to the condo which were no problem for us, but potential renters should be aware of this.)
We had a great stay at the apartment. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of historic Beacon Hill. Very walkable to coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, bars, the park, and public transportation. Kaitlyn was very helpful and accommodating -- I would certainly recommend a stay at her place!
Experience was great and everything was as seen in the pictures shown. Kaitlyn was very helpful with recommendations on what to do in Boston, and made extra effort to ensure we were comfortable. Convenient location as well! Thank you for making our stay in Boston fantastic!
We stayed at Kaitlyn's place for four nights during a visit to Boston. The whole experience was great, the apartment exactly as described and the location perfect. Kaitlyn was very accommodating and went above and beyond to help us. Every time we contacted her about something she replied right away.
We would highly recommend this rental to anyone.
Kaitlyn was a great hostess! She was efficient and accessible when we coordinated our arrival. Her place is exactly as pictured-- clean, tastefully decorated, with fast Internet available, right in the heart of Beacon Hill. There are lots of shops and restaurants just down the block, and it felt like staying with friends.
